Won't work for me
It doesn't work with my TV, I remember that needs to be set to work with the TV. But it's not doing it

Works 100%!!
This is the priciest of the replacement options for the Samsung UN50JU7500F/UN50JU7500FXZA TV remote, but this is the only one that actually works 100%! The construction and material of this remote is of OEM equivalent quality. The M.SCREEN button replaces the "extras" button of the old remote, and the Samsung logo is missing from the face, but I am betting that this was the original manufacturer contracted to produce the OEM remote. I received the product in a very timely fashion, and well packaged. Worth the price!

Terrible product
This remote gives me nothing but problems. I have to remove the batteries each time every night and out them back in or it doesn't work. The covet also doesn't fit correctly and is hard to snap in and also to take off. Sent me a lemon.

So far - ok - but time will tell
This was difficult to pair but persistance paid off. However, Iโm not fully confident it will hold up. I canโt get it to pair up with my Apple TV - my original worked fine with Apple TV. But this - no luck

Cheap Chinese Remote Doesn't Work
Cursor jumps all over the screen and is uncontrollable with this cheap remote. This is not as good as the original OEM remote. Instructions are hilarious. Very poor translation to English.

90% Rating overall. Wish it could be higher.
Been searching for an OEM replacement for years, and could only find a couple of used ones on the sites. Remotes DO wear out after a while, the biggest problem being the wearing out of the contact areas of the control buttons. As the contact surfaces wear out, the buttons become increasingly unresponsive and eventually quit working altogether. I consider this as a built in design flaw to increase replacement sales, as much older remotes never had this problem. So buying a second hand remote is a waste, unless yours is stone dead. There are repair kits that allow you to clean the contacts and recoat them with conductive material, but they wear off quickly and aren't worth the time andctrouble . The only solution was to get a brand spanking new original remote. But Samsung has a bad habit of making replacement parts obsolete after a year or two, they have no loyalty to their customers. Here I have a UN65JS9500FXZ 65" curved screen 2015 flagship smart TV that cost me over $5,000 that has special functions requiring a unique remote. That no replacement could ever replace! Like VOICE control and the POINTER. Once you get used to them, you can no longer do without them. You get spoiled. Like being addicted to potato chips. Imagine my delight when I finally stumbled across this particular remote that looked exactly like the original. It had it all, including voice control and a capacitive touch motion control pointer. A big deal in 2015, but common today. So why couldn't they produce matching replacements until now? I had my reservations. But, despite its precise appearance of design and quality, it has some slight drawbacks. The first minus that I noticed was the weight, noticeably lighter than the original. To me, that denotes a reduction in the feel of quality. Secondly, the control buttons dont illuminate, and that become a bit of a nuisance as most viewing is done in dim or dark lighting and you have to search for the buttons. Finally, there's a noticeable lag in the response time that you get with replacements. They lack the snappy response of the original remote. The "feel" just isn't there. But, at least it doesn't have the dreaded dongle, which is a nuisance in many ways, such as wasting the use of a USB port. This remote DOES work with the TVs built in Bluetooth. Overall, it's the closet I could get to the original and it appears that Samsung provided the manufacturers with the original molds. For that, I give a 90% positive rating. It loses the 10% on the loss of "feel", the lack of illuminated buttons, the lag. One bonus was changing the function of the long obsolete EXTRA button to MSCREEN, as the access to splitscreen comes in handy. But beggars can't be choosers, and I'm finally able to control my TV almost as it was intended. What I dont understand, is when you pay a premium price for a product that's highly advanced, futuristic and touted as upgradeable, that Samsung stops all support after 3 or 4 years? It seems that they try to force you to buy a new TV almost every year. The manufacturers of this remote would have been better off if they had made it exactly like the original device. The weight, feel and response time DO matter. A higher cost is worth that "feel". I'm willing to pay for that. Nothing can match the satisfying feeling of quality in an item. I'm sure there are others out there with an old high end TV that's still in too good a shape to be discarded for the want of an OEM remote that actually works as advirtised. This is is it!

Works well
This remote pairs easily by holding down 2 buttons and functionally works the exact same as the original. The pointer button turns on the pointer by touching it and not pressing it. The pointer button itself is more recessed and doesn't move as much when you press it so it does feel a little worse than the original in my opinion. The pairing process is basically automated, you turn on the tv and hold down the 2 buttons on the bottom of the remote until you see the Bluetooth symbol on the tv and then you just wait for it to show a picture of the remote and its done. I will note that with my tv, UN55JS8500, only 1 of these remotes can be paired at a time it seems. The biggest negative is that the tolerances for the battery size and the back cover are so small that when i installed my rechargeable batteries i could not get the cover/backplate to close properly. The rechargeables are ever slightly larger than the Duracell AA that I have and when I put in the Duracell the remote closed fine and works fine. I have never experienced this before with rechargeable batteries since the difference in size is so small I've never even noticed until i got this remote. I've seen other people comment that they couldn't get the cover to close properly or that the remote was resetting its pairing and I suspect that it is the battery brand they are using not fitting properly like mine was, with my rechargeable battery it is actually requiring a bit of force to get it into the slot. Otherwise the remote works great and is an almost perfect replacement to the OEM remote. I did have to turn the sensitivity to High on the tv for the pointer to work like the original remote.
