My teen son loves reading this book!

I don’t usually do devotionals, but this one has become a daily habit for me. I love that it points to Christ and not us. I have gifted this book to several people.

My teen son added this to his Christmas list. He really likes this devotional.

Excellent daily devotion for teens

I first gave a copy to my 18 yr old daughter. She loved it so much I purchased more to give to teens in my life. It’s biblically solid and faith growing. I have been using the adult version for 5+ years and it hits me where God needs me to grow EVERY TIME! Great devo!!!!

I’m so happy Paul Tripp released this teen devotional! My 14 yr old daughter is really enjoying this and uses it everyday. It has really helped to solidify her devotional time. It very accessible for teens and has really helped to establish more direction in her Bible reading. Paul Tripp’s devotionals really help you to think like a Christian. My husband is a minister and is constantly recommending them to people. So I was so excited when I saw this and immediately ordered it for our 14 year old daughter. Paul Tripps parenting videos reveal just how much counseling experience he has with teens and parents of teens. I’m very thankful he’s sharing that wisdom in this book to help our teens as they seek to strengthen their faith and navigate a difficult age.

Every Christmas I purchase a new family devotional for the new year, to do with the kids during our worship time at home. It is not easy to find one that has 365 devotions, one per day of the year, and is appropriate for their level. A lot of devotional books will be geared toward younger kids, which I appreciated when I had that age. This book is a good selection overall. It has one devotion per day, easy to do as a family, provides questions for thoughtful discussion after the devotion, scriptural and sound in Biblical doctrine, and has many Bible references. The one thing that I don't love is applicability. It feels as though some of the devotions are more esoteric, harder for a teenager to apply to their own life or identify with. The other thing I don't love is the way it is phrased--the author uses a lot of repetitive questions (Do you have an issue with your friends? Do you have an issue with your homework? etc. Those are not actual examples from the book.).

The messages are good, and just the right length for breakfast devotions before school. However, I do wish it had more actual Bible references and less preaching on each page.

Better written than the one for adults, excellent for round the table devotions

My daughter age 16 loves this. It's been tricky to find a really good teen devotional that has deeper content for teens really pursuing faith. This book ticks the box ☑️
