Works well!
Received quickly and works well. I can't vouch for accuracy as I don't have anything to compare it to, but I put it close to my smoke detector (they all contain Americium) and it did pick up the radiation.Very easy to use, highly recommended!

Saludos cordiales!

Love it.
Great product. I love playing around with this thing. Testing all our dishes, rocks, antiques, you name it...I've tested it.Easy to use and learn. Menu is simple. Lightweight and compact design. Removable and rechargeable battery is awesome. From what I can tell seems to be pretty accurate. Nice case to add durability with a belt loop to add some versatility. The only negative i noticed so far is the sensor is on the side rather that the front, but this is indicated on the back of the device.

Highly Sensitive Geiger Counter on a Budget!
This is a fantastic Geiger counter for the cost. It appears to be way more sensitive (by distance from a known radioactive source -see photos) than I would have expected from the price point -especially if you get it while on-sale. The battery life is fantastic, lasting several days on a single charge. The graphics are easy to follow but unfortunately are predefined, not allowing the user to customize the appearance of the graph apart from the time points. The “click” sound is accurate, and reflects each radiation count without maxing-out into a continuous beep. The color-coded danger bar is a nice touch that changes based on current detection levels. When in the “green” zone, the light at the top of the unit blinks green with each count. When in the Yellow zone, it alarms (if you have it set to do so at that level, which is adjustable and user defined) and the light blinks yellow. When in the red zone the unit vibrates, beeps loudly, and the light blinks red. The unit can measure the expected units “CPM, uSv/h, mR/h, and CPS”. I’ve included photos showing the awesome sensitivity of this unit at progressively closer distances to a Geiger Test Card (known radiation source). The first photo shows background levels (which fluctuates up and down, naturally). The next photo shows a distance of 30 inches from the test source -it picks up the card at the distance, which had be incredibly impressed. Next I show the unit at 20 inches, 10”, 5”, and 1” where I hold the card up to show it’s presence. The next two photos show the Geiger Counter directly placed on top of the test card, as the bare-unit and then while in the case (which drops the detection count significantly, unfortunately). The last photo shows my radiation source.I am beyond impressed. The test card has a maximum detection lever reported as being between 1000-4000 CPM, and this unit captured an impressive 3200 CPM. I highly recommend this product. It is from Seattle, WA which was also a selling point for me -being a home grown company. Enjoy!
