Great price works good

I have bought 2 of these. I really love that there are many different types of useful items in the package. The tubing is great, all the extras are good quality and easy to use.

This is a great little set. My only reason for not giving 4 stars is the air hose that comes with this is not the best quality and pops off the air pump frequently. I just bought some sturdier hose line and that fixed the problem. The valves and dividers are great as are the air stones.

Everything works well, no complaints at all. Plenty of tubing. No problems with airflow. They fit both of my pumps (each are different). Easy to cut because it’s soft, and put on adapters. So far seem pretty durable.

The air line is very thin and flimsy. The adjustable fittings do leak and don’t recommend using them at all. The air stone are good if you let them soak for 24hrs. If not, the tent to only bubble out on certain places. Check valves are good, a bit big on the fitting for this type of air line.

You would think that there should be no issues with this product. They are simple and should just work. I don't care about the tubing- it's super cheap and I can easily find some non-permanent aquarium use for it. The check valves are awful and don't work. I use a lot of them. I turned up a serious air pump to max, and the check valve, applied the correct direction, would not let air through. I had to blow really, really, hard manually, and finally it "popped." Air now goes through, but barely. Definitely cannot use since only a trickle of air comes out. My biggest concern is the awful Y connectors (my only reason for buying this set over another similar set). The Y connectors are not cut the same as the other connectors (plus on each, one of the three sides is weirdly blunt and rough). There is no reason for this, since all three sides should connect to pieces of tubing. They do not slip on all the way with the soft tubing (impossible and deforms), and the air I need to send through them causes the tubing to pop off on multiple sides all the time. This has happened several times "unexpectedly" in a couple weeks. I don't want to come home to dead fish that are not getting the air they need all weekend. These incredibly simple parts need to predictably work, NOT predictably/repeatedly fail. Save the life of your fish; multiple issues with this set are a no-brainer not to buy.
