Only took a second to connect and the sound quality was a lot better.
I got this cord to replace one that I'd had on my old desk phone for 40 years. Time for a replacement I guess. The sound quality was a lot better than the old one but my old phone is a dark red and the cord is a more distinct red so it doesn't match all that well like the old one did but it works better so guess that is what counts.

It’s a phone cable for goodness sake, what more can I say?
It’s a phone cord. You plug it in and you can hear and talk. It doesn’t do dishes, or write dissertations. It only does what it’s supposed to do!

It's a great length but the phone i purchased it for had a light weight handset and the weight of this cords tugs the handset off the phone if not careful
