I was so conflicted about which size to buy. That being said, I took the advice of several ladies and just bought ONE SIZE LARGER than what I wear in clothing. Yes, it is tight pulling it up. However, it only took me about 15 seconds to get it on! I think if you have larger hips or thighs it may not work as easily. I'm not super skinny gal, either. For reference, I am 5' 4" and weigh 145, size 6 to 8 in jeans, and wear medium in tops. I bought size large in this shaper. As for the product expectations, I am pretty satisfied. The bottom half fit well- snug but not uncomfortably tight, 5’7”, 150lb and ordered a M- but ironically, the torso was too long (not usually the issue for a busty gal (34G). It bunched right into my bra/back roll turning it into multiple rolls (because it fit snugly as intended but was too long) but also cut into my bust.
