Worked as advertised for me, seeing atleast a 20° temp decrease, even on 100° days while doing hour long drives. Took about 10 minutes to swap while doing a service on the transmission.

I received my product and installed it the next day. Very simple to install. Instructions are easy to follow and so simple. Great fit, great value for the money and no leakage at all. Once installed my temperatures dropped by 40 degrees. I was running at 205 degrees, I am not running between 150 and 167 degrees. This is amazing. I am not having any durability issues at the moment. I recommend this product to anyone who is having a transmission heating issues or overheating issues.

Easy to install, works very well. Mtransmission stays much cooler and shifts better under heavy load.

This thing is great. My valve died so my transmission overheated heavily and as soon as I swapped this in it has never overheated. Went from running at 200+ to never being above 185. My 2018 gmc 1500 6L80 has never been happier and neither have I. This product saves you thousands on repairs and takes 5 mins to install. Only this you need to be aware of is it requires you taking a little c clip snap ring out which you need a set of snap ring pliers for to make it easy. Ran to AutoZone and grabbed them for 10 bucks. I got away with using picks and assorted tools from my garage to get it out but you probably will give up and need the pliers to put it back in. Great product

Works as described and instructions included. This replaces the thermostat in the factory housing for a GM 6L80. Lowered my trans temps substantially. You will need basic tools and snap ring pliers.

fit my 2017 GMC Sierra with the 6‑speed exactly as it should. Everything lined up properly and installation was straightforward. It also does what it’s supposed to do as my transmission fluid temps are noticeably lower after installing it.This version includes the gasket, which isn’t strictly required, but it really should be replaced when removing and reinstalling the system. Buying it as part of the kit is cheaper than sourcing the gasket separately. Solid setup and well worth it.

Easy to use and do it use self!

Pulling a 6000# trailer with my 1500, tends to make the transmission fluid run hot, especially with a stock transmission cooler thermostat that doesn’t open until 194°. Was recommended this product to lower the temp and make my new transmission last for years. Watched several videos and people were saying it takes 10-30 minutes for this install. I’m currently in a cast, and considered it a challenge! It did take me closer to the 30 min mark, but was super easy to do, even 1 handed. Temps dropped 40-50° at highway speeds and 20-40° for city driving (in 94° summer heat). Will see how well it works this weekend while pulling our camper. Fantastic product, just wish I would have known about it years ago - could have saved my factory transmission and $5k to replace it!

Easy to install by yourselfTransmission temperature used to be at 130 C in a 30 minute mountain pass in 20 C weather. Now its 100 C in the same mountain pass and 30 C weather. Also, transmission temperature will go back to 85 C after 20 minutes of normal driving.

Bueno se lo instale a una silverado 2019 con transmision 6L80 pero veo que no es mucha la diferencia en la temperatura

Easy to install, as per the instruction.Before, my transmission temperature was averaging ~80°C with the stock GM set up. Now with the STL010 mod, my transmission temperature hasn't gone past 60°C.

Excellent product. Did exactly what it was purchased for.
