This device is amazing! I've been using two spoons to crush meds and it's a bit messy. This device is simple to use and very effective. Would recommend for sure! It's sturdy and solid but doesn't weight much at all. I would recommend crushing, undo, shake and recrush a few times, I did a standard paracetamol and it was a bit gritty, after two more crushes it was like a fine powder.

Oh I love him! I bought it to crush my dog’s probiotics and it works a treat. I had to have a pill crusher that at least looked nice on my counter and he does! So easy to use, even with a hand injury. One at a time is a breeze, but I managed all 3 (they’re a fair size) before the hand injury. Fab.

I bought this as I now need to give my cat medication in pill form every day but there's no way she's taking a pill so I found this and it grinds the pills right down into a fine dust that I can sprinkle over her food and she doesn't realise and eats the whole lot :) very easy to twist the head and it grinds up the pill easily in a few twists

Great for crushing tablets for people who can’t take pills like my daughter. Can take a bit of force on some larger tablets but best to split those first. Crushes down to powder that can be taken with water.

I have arthritis in my hands and I have to crush tablets so they can be mixed with water and put down a peg tube. This has made such a difference. I have found if it is a larger tablet if you break it in half then it's easier to crush. I hold the bottom in my hand being larger it's easier to hold with my hands and the head is also easier as you can just screw bit by bit and if you undo it a bit then screw the head it makes it easier on the hands. The only thing that the child in me is disappointed with is it's little face is wearing off, daft I know but it looks kinda cute on the side. Hope this review helps someone to decide whether to buy one or not.

Buy it if you want a cute toy but this is not a grinder. It just crushes the pills to pieces. Plastic pieces drop when you rotate.

The design is so cute, it's larger than I thought. However, the size provides proper grip on both sides when crushing the pill. I tried on a large vitamin pill and it crushed finely. Also, the package arrive sooner than anticipated. I highly recommend the product.

I specifically bought this to use for the Coprophagia tablets we put in our cats food. I tried other pill crushers, like the blue topped one I've shown next to this cute little pink one, and they all seem to have the same issues. The shape of other crushers are never exactly ergonomic, and for some pills that are tough to crush, those little ridges just dig into your hands when you're squeezing and turning. They are flimsy and cheap and I've actually had one or two crack on me before. While this pill crusher seemed uneccessarily large at first, once placing it in my hand, I realized how comfortable it was. Then after using it, I realized the size is what enables the design to be so efficient. This pill crusher gets the job done so quick and easy and once you use it, you'll never use another. It even comes with a small brush to ensure you get all medication from the pot. Smaller crushers may require multiple twists, twice or even more, especially for harder pills, and the shallow pot ones for the powder may easily spill. All of this can be frustrating, but it can be especially difficult for those who suffer from carpal tunnel, arthritis, those who have disorders that cause tremors, or any other issues with dexterity, or the elderly in general. With other crushers, I always found them to have the same issues. It would take a couple tries to get the top screwed on properly, because as soon as the triangular point hits the pill it would knock the top off balence. You would then have to press down with equal pressure on the whole surface of the top with your palm while simultaneously twisting to get the top threaded on tightly enough to stay so you could lift your hand to continue twisting. It shouldn't be that complicated. Nothing complicated with this cusher! You put the pill in, put the top on, and it easily screws on right, the first time, everytime. Even with these Coprophagia tabs, which as you can see are about as large as a quarter. Because this crusher is much taller than typical ones, it has a deeper dish for the triangular point that crushes the pill, which is what make it so effective. The depth also gives the user more control, so you're less likely to spill the contents. All I have to so is close the top once, and the tablet is completely crushed. I've used other crushers, including the blue topped one, and similar ones, where I had to open and close it and shift the powder inside in between times to get the powder crushed enough. You don't get that with this one. While I most often use this for my pet meds, I have used it for other pills that were much harder, like my stepdaughters meds that need to be mixed with food, and I've had the same results each time. Simple and quick, with no aching wrists. As I said I bought this cute little crusher simply for the animal theme, since it was for my animal meds, but after using it, I think its a great item in general. And as I said, being able to get the job done so quickly without pain or strain makes me strongly recommend it for the elderly.
