Delivery was smooth and building the bookcase wasn't too bad. All the parts needed came with it, along with extra parts if any were lost. It was a bit smaller than I imagined even though the measurements were listed, but I had no trouble fitting all my books on it. I love how it comes in different colors, and so far everything is good. Definitely would buy again in the future as my book collection grows.

Excellent bookshelf. Came very quickly, (thanks Amazon) went together pretty easily, and is quite sturdy and looks nice. Very satisfied.

I bought three of these in two different sizes. The instructions are very easy to follow, and all the parts are labeled in individual, well labeled bags. Extra parts were included, but not everything that was needed was included. 1) When I tried taking some of the warning stickers off the pieces, it was virtually impossible. A residue was left from the glue which required a little help to get off, and in one case the sticker simply peeled leaving the entire sticky side stuck to my board. These really should be put on the back panels OR on a hidden area of the board in case this happens. 2) They include a screwdriver (flippable head so you have both phillips and straight), but most of the screws go in with a star tip / hex. They do provide a hex key, but it was annoyingly small to use. I subbed the right size tip and put my power screwdriver to good use. The smaller bookcases went together in under 30 minutes, the larger one went in just over 30. Total time spent from unboxing to placed was just over 2 hours for all three, completely done. They look great, and are decidedly sturdy. All in all - this was a good buy that I'm bookmarking if I ever need or want more!

Putting together your own bookcase is interesting and normally I have someone else put together furniture. This time I wanted to surprise my husband by getting everything done by myself. I'm over 55 so this was a little more effort because I had to sit and rest in between exertions. First you have to get everything out of the box and then you have to use a screw driver and Allen wrench to put the bookcase together. Frankly I found the instructions easy to follow and all the items needed were well labeled in little bags. Yes they actually include a screw driver and Allen wrench which was very helpful! One person can put this together by themselves but two people would make it slightly easier. The pieces of wood were perfectly packaged so there was no damage. I used those "moving men" sliders to move the heavy about 40 pound box into the living room and then I used them again to move the whole bookcase into the office. The one thing I didn't have was the hammer they suggested using to knock in the little feet for the bottom of the shelves. I used my regular hammer which I put two napkins over and fastened it all with some packaging tape. That worked. I take no responsibility for you if it doesn't work for you. :) For me it was an easy solution and I didn't have to buy a second softer hammer. So yes, I'm very happy with this and now I put about 93 books on the shelves and it is holding up well and I'm pleased to have my own little library of books to read in my office. ~The Rebecca Review

I had a small issue with delivery but the problem was resolved and I received the package the following week. It was boxed well and it came without damage. I was happy to discover it was very easy to assemble and I did it alone in about a half hour. I was also surprised to find when assembled It's shorter than the shelf it's replacing. I thought it was the same size but I think I like this shelf better! It's prettier than the old one and It's sturdier. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase and I would order again.

Great little shelf. Smaller than expected; however, definitely worth it for the hardware. Might need more than just one or two depending on what you use it for. I used it in my classroom - it worked well for my textbooks. Honestly for the price, well worth it!

The title says it all. It's 2-piece "shelf" with a top of two shelves that sits on a bottom unit, like two apple crates of different lengths set together, the smaller one on top. Putting this together is ridiculous. Parts have as many as 16 holes of different sizes (in some type of created "board"), the back is (like) covered cardboard. The kit has 7 (!) kinds of joiners to attach shelves to sides, etc., + 4 rubber feet-on-nails, two "tools" and a set of sticky dots on a pad. The unit is not "easy" to put together in any respect. Far from intuitive or and straightforward, assembly is illogical, inconvenient, & awkward. The system and materials for joining are unnecessarily varied and strange and not necessarily consistent in manufacture. A reviewer said that the screwdriver received in the kit was handy. That's cute. The most recent item that I assembled from this company, a small desk, had screw holes drilled though metal a few mm off on two sides. The one before that (a larger desk) had two support pieces missing that I have yet to receive months later. (Not for lack of asking.) I have about every kind of power and hand tool for wood working and auto repair, and I would still say this unit is not worth the time and effort to pull out of the box. I wish I had not. Better to go thrifting or check Craig's or buy the lumber and get busy cutting, drilling, leveling, instead of buying this absolutely ridiculous product. The result is likely to be much more sturdy. If you built such a shelf from scratch in your kitchen with hand tools and canned goods holding your materials in place, it would go together in a much more straightforward and logical way and you'd have a real wood shelf. I did that about 50 years ago, so I speak from experience.

I bought 2 of these on sale and I'm so glad that I did. They were a bit of a pain to put together because the backing piece is kind of flimsy & when you try to stack the 2 pieces together it's difficult to get it just right by yourself. I had to have my daughter come help me with the 2nd one. I love that not only do they give you the tool you need to put some of the pieces in they also give you a screwdriver. They were the perfect height to fit into my book nook. I love how they look.

This bookshelf was exactly as shown and what I wanted. Well made, no parts missing and easy for my husband to assemble with no complaints. Looks lovely with all my books, Would highly recommend.
