These are supposed to be strong for braiding dreadlock extension but they many of them snapped after 5 days, now I have to travel 45 minutes to get my hair hair redone, I don't recommend these

Update: not great for adults, but great for kids. These breaking easy make it great for tiny children hair!!! Love these!! Will buy more all the time!They stretch ok, but they break so easy and super quick. I thought maybe it was just some of them, but I’ve now done my hair a good few times and I expect to lose a few every time I do my hair. You can’t stretch them too much, or they break. Once they’re in your hair, don’t plant to take them out an/or bring back up, because they break almost immediately. I have been just sitting there and they will break in my hair all the time. When I stretched one out, it had a bunch of visible cracks in it. Which is odd because they are actually really soft. I won’t be buying them again.

These Hicarer mini rubber hair bands are absolutely terrible. When I first received the bag I was tremendously happy, as it appears like this huge bag stuffed with mini rubber bands. I thought for sure that I would never need to buy another bag of mini rubber bands again. That was, of course, until I tried them.So, the time came to use them for their initial banding, with hair freshly washed & conditioned. Upon first stretch, the band broke. Oh well…no big deal. So I grabbed a second one only to have the exact breakage recur with the 2nd band. The third time must be a charm, right? Well it was. The band did its thing. Until about two hours later I reached for my hair and the rubber band was was broken…in my hair.Over the next week I went through probably 15-20 bands and nearly all of them broke either prior to being put in my hair or broke on their own while in my hair. That’s terrible! I don’t know whether it’s an issue with the brown bands or if it’s this brand in general, at this point I’ll use them until the 1000 is gone. And lemme tell you…at this rate that won’t take very long.Based on this introduction to the Hicarer mini hair bands and the subsequent 75-100 bands of breakage, I would not recommend them. I guess it is true that you get what you pay for…these being the cheapest mini rubber hair bands I could find.

These bands work great for small braids and hairstyles. They stretch well without snapping immediately, and having such a large pack means I won’t be running out anytime soon. Just be gentle when removing them to avoid tangles.

Omg just what I needed perfect for everything and they don’t break super easily. I reuse them several times.

These are great for being creative with different hairstyles and I like how they don't rip my hair out!

What I liked:I like that these have a matte finish and a variety of colors: black, dark brown, light brown, gray and clear.Worked well while installing my dreadlock extensions.What I didn't like:After 3 weeks, I had 13 bands break. They don't hold up well over extended period of time. I used the brown ones and if you can see in the picture, they started turning to a really light shade, almost cream-colored , in some spots.I would recommend for daily use, but extended use.

They are perfect for doing any hairstyle! They don’t easily break, so goes a long way. Also they aren’t harsh on hair either

Really pleased. Not too thick but nice and strong and stretchy. I've had no bands snap on me. I've used the band's twice over- might of got more use out of them but I've only tried two wears. Managed a full ponytail with a band over night. I will absolutely buy again!
