Our dog has had major femur surgery that requires him to be as immobile as possible for 12 weeks. Because of the delicate nature of his leg, we were told to not place him in a kennel. After one week of confining him to a 5x3 bathroom with the door closed, or on a leash indoors and on only rug-covered floor spaces, 24/7, I was ready to lose my mind. And so was he. Out of desperation after only one week of this confinement for he and me. I sprung for the $62+ price and had it Prime shipped. It arrived today. I set it up in three minutes and when my dog saw it, he went through the gate and lay down. He is so safe and cozy in his new "home." It is large enough for our 45-lb Rottie mix to lay down, stretch out, walk a few steps, comfortably. Looking at the picture, I'm sure it's helpful to know that the rug is 5x8 ft and the dog bed is 29x36 inches. Dog and human both rate this sturdy, well-connected "play yard" 5+ stars. I highly recommend this for anyone to be able to easily supervise a pet's location or mobility. Note:. I would NEVER leave a pet or child unsupervised in this enclosure. I'm confident we will make it through our dog's 3-month strictly-mandated confinement with full healing and this enclosure will play a huge part! I'm so thankful for this product; words can't fully express my gratitude. UPDATE: we are now in week 5 of using this playpen for our 45-lb pup and it has definitely been a blessing. If not for this restricted space, I would have LOST MY MIND by now. One thing I learned this week, however: now that our dog is stronger and more confident with using his healing leg, he is able to push this entire structure around the room when he gets super excited. He's jumped up on the sides of it a couple of times in the last two days, but thankfully it's sturdy enough that it never even gave the appearance of tipping over. Both are something to think about if you have strong toddlers that you intend to use this with. Adult supervision at all times is required, whether with children or with pets.

The fence is a godsend for our household. Our little guy is crawling and loves to get into mischief. This fence has helped us block off the television and coffee table from his roaming. It’s freestanding without needing to secure it to the wall and has withstood some pushing by the baby. I will say it is difficult to fold in and out of position. It catches as you push or pull it apart and doesn’t do so smoothly. But it is a very good size, so it encompasses the space we need it to and we don’t have to move it at all. It’s made of a very thick plastic, which feels durable.

Perfect fit for my curious puppy!

I’m using this as a pet gate/fence to protect our Christmas tree from an overzealous GSD and excitable Great Pyrenees puppy. They’ve already knocked the tree over once and the puppy has chewed up the lights. Since we put up the gate, which was easy to assemble, it has been great as a deterrent. It’s not heavy but feels like good quality. We are not using the wall mount because the tree is in front of the window. As long as the tree and gifts survive through Christmas, the gate has served its purpose.

I ordered two of these for my twins. We pretty much have our entire living room fenced off. We even purchased a door that goes to this fence, so it will be easy to get in and out. Just know it can feel flimsy even though it's sturdy. You will have to zig-zag it to ensure your baby won't turn into Hercules and orchestrate their first prison break.

I was worried like most things you can't really tell what size something is on the internet. I've been fooled like that before the picture "looks" like something would be decent size and you realize it's not even big enough for a tiny dog let alone children! I was very pleased when this arrived the size was great. I actually used it in a different way than most would. I have a huge living room that over looks my kitchen and while it's great for watching my kids and cooking meals at the same time I always worry about the accidental run ins through the kitchen. So I went looking for all types of gates most were very expensive with very little length so on my hunt I saw this and thought possibly six pieces would do the job. Well fully extended it's quite HUGE! It completely blocked the space I needed it too and it still had plenty of length room. I love it, it works great for just about anything you want to use it for. I plan on buying more in the future for other rooms in the house! I've been using this for about a week now and I really like it. I am not using it in the hexagon/octogon shape (I have 8 panels). Instead I have it going across my living room and bending behind furniture to make it stable. So far it has kept my 10 month old twin boys in their contained safe play area. They pull up to standing on the panels and everything is stable. I used the rubber pieces on the bottom of the panels and so far they seem to be working well. So overall this does what I needed it to. I was looking for something that would attach to a wall and be movable. I have these tricky stairs I was trying to block my toddler off from. The pros for this unit is it comes with two optional hinges. They screw onto the wall. Please note that only one of the hinges swings freely, as you would expect a hinge to operate. The other is stationary. I didn't realize this when I ordered it and it took me a while to figure out what was going on when I installed the first part of it to my wall. I found the setup to be a little bit difficult, but I never bothered to read the directions, and I was completely exhausted from moving into a new house. So my troubles with setup could have been user error and it may be easier for most people. I find the connected panels very difficult to turn and position in the right angle. There is this spring loaded corner that you push down on and the unit is supposed to turn. Once in a while it swings and moves easily, but most of the time, in my experience I can't get the unit to skip passed these notches that lock the corners in place. Don't expect to change the shape of it very easily while juggling a toddler. The hinge that swings freely feels rather flimsy. I set this side up with a single panel at the top of the stairs. I lock it to the banister with a ratchet strap to keep little one from opening and closing it. It works pretty well. If my son starts aggressively trying to get down the stairs for some reason, I'm fully expecting this hinge to break. The box says its for ages up to two years old. I'm guessing that and the unit's rather short height are the reason for this. I like this product well, enough, that I may purchase an additional hinge set to block off the stairs in the playroom in the basement. I still have two panels left from my project. However, I may opt to purchase something more sturdy, if I can find something long enough for this spot.

I use these playard panels for my dogs. I have a studio apartment with a female who has become dog selective. I bought 2 sets of panels and placed them down the middle. She can see thru but can't get over. They are sturdy and can take a beating. I like that i can move and make areas easily for where I want certain dogs to be. She’s about 40-50 lbs and can nudge them aside but I do prop the ends into areas that she can't get past.
