Right out of the box this should have been easy to install. IT WASN'T!1- IT TOOK ME HOURS of fiddling and swapping cables to get it to work.How hard can it be to run a HDMI and a USB2.0 (printer cable) from each computer to the 'Box'?? Not hard right? WRONG!Well, the damn thing didn't work right out of the box. Near as I can tell (guess) I think my 2 computers were each set to different resolutions that were each incompatible with the opposite monitor.2- I ended up with a huge spider web of wires on my desktop. Can't hid it because I have to be able to push the button to switch..What makes it worst, HDMI and USB go in the back, but Mouse, Keyboard and Speaker wires go in the front. TERRIBLE DESIGN!!!!!3- No idea how long this will last but, if it fails I won't replace it with a similar design.4- Before you switch, you have to stop anything that is using the speakers (ie music play back). If not, the sound will continue to play through the computer's internal speaker (and you know how bad that sounds).

Appearance – Slim look. Sets nice on desk.Setup – Easy to setup. Up and running in less than 5 minutes. Need to restart computer for device to sync properly.Ports – All cable ports are on back side of device which makes connectivity easy to computer. Cables don’t appear from front view. It has USB ports in front which is good for connecting wireless mouse and keyboard. It has audio switch too which is an extra bonusPerformance – The most important aspect of this device. It has a small switch in front which allows you to change KVM between two computers. Switching is smooth and seamless without any lagging. It is a perfect recipe for me.Cons – HDMI & USB Cables were not included in the base package and it wasn’t clearly stated on Amazon site. I realized it when I opened the package.Product summary – Great features, performance for budget price.My verdict ***** – Been using this for 3 weeks, I’m very happy and recommend this product.

I got this to replace an old IO gear switch I had, and thought it looked good cause of the audio ports upfront. This thing never works when switching computers. I know these things have to be cheaply made but this one freezes up when switching, it gets worse when using the power adapter cause then it wont shut off and remain frozen. Its crap

Sound from KVM is clear and very good. Additional switch for sound is very good.Keyboard switch between 1<->2 PC is working excellent and fast.When PC is just powered on it will not work imediatelly so it is better to switch it to that pc and after that switch it on.Overall I am happy with this KVM.

Worked fine for 8 months then just suddenly stopped working for no reason. Won't by this one again. Will spend extra and hopefully get one that lasts!
