Wanted to wait a bit to write a review as this is my 4th one (all different brands) just to be sure. Folks, this machine is phenomenal. Not too loud, constant output of tiny little ice cubes that are almost like the ice at Sonic, no leaking, high fill line, and super fast refills. Two people can generously fill up their glass and there's still a few cubes at the bottom. By the time we come back for another glass of tea, the tank is full again. The cleaning process is easy, too, which I do about 1x month. It fits right next to my microwave, so it's about that tall and probably half the width. Yes, it takes up some counters pace, but it sure beats having to buy a 5 lb bag at the store as it slowly melts on the way home, taking up half of my freezer space and re-freezing the melted parts so that you have to slam it on some hard surface to break the cubes back up. Thank God those days are over! It was super easy to set up - I didn't even need to read the instructions (except on how/when to clean). Have had ZERO problems or issues with it. This is by far the best countertop ice machine out there, especially if you like the tiny "nugget" ice (my kid loves to crunch ice and I'm not even a little bit worried he'll break a tooth on these compared to the bigger ice cubes). Absolutely worth every penny! *Everything I've just written is completely true and unbiased. This was not part of some promo deal nor was I offered any discount for my written opinion. I paid full price for this baby and would do it again...in fact I probably will when I get my own office at work.

After carefully looking through many different ice makers of various different prices, I settled on this one after looking at reviews for all of them. And I’m so glad I did! Zero problems, right out of the box, made ice within like 30 min, it fits on my countertop, comes with the ice scoop which is nice too, it’s been on constantly (don’t turn it off!), and no issues with overheating or anything. It does put out hot air though so I have it a little more forward on my countertop. The space is perfect for my studio. It’s super easy to use, just fill the compartment, and press start. It cycles the ice so it doesn’t get stuck so when the bottom ice melts, it makes fresh ice from it! Always having fresh ice is actually really nice. And it’s just like sonic ice. Very soft and crunchy. Absolutely perfect, going to be gifting these out for Christmas and bdays.

This product gets only 1 star. Do NOT buy unless you plan to purchase the protection plan along with it and then if you do that, you may just want to consider purchasing a more expensive countertop ice maker. We have not had this ice maker even one year yet and it has completely stopped working! It is VERY NOISY, worse than a loud dishwasher and it screams sometimes if it starts freezing up. I have taken apart to clean when this happens and it usually is better and makes nice, soft, fluffy nugget ice. However, it did not make ice anymore after this last cleaning. It turns on and spits out about 2 tablespoons of very slushy ice and then no more. I did not purchase the protection plan, so I am out of luck and the price is way too much to last only 8 months. We always used distilled water in this product, so it is not due to operator neglect. I would give it no stars, except when it was working, the ice was great... a perfect size and very easy on your teeth!

This worked great for almost a year. But then after descaling and running clean cycle it quit making ice and instead makes odd noises and no ice. Reading troubleshooting, suggests that it needs repairs. (Original review 2 stars) Update: a couple of weeks after posting this review, the unit completely died and no longer made ice, only horrible noises! I was contacted by customer service (unsolicited) and after providing a screenshot of my order details and address and a couple of days later, I received a brand new ice maker! Updated review 5 stars-1 only due to the fact that the first one crapped out in the first place. The ice this machine makes is great!

Makes perfect nugget ice but it is very loud when its running.

This machine is a beast! We run it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We have had it for 15 months. We live in Colorado, the water is hard and the air is dusty. We clean it with ice maker cleaning tablets. If you hear it squealing it means there is some scale built up from the hard water. We also use an air compressor to blow the dust out. Every day we enjoy the best iced coffee, sodas and iced teas.

I love this ice maker. I leave the ice in it and usually only have enough water inside to make ice for one day. The ice does not do well moving to a conventional freezer as it sticks together. I clean this once a week with lemon water as recommended. I also only use distilled or purified water because I have hard water in the tap. I have had zero issues with this in 6 months of use. My cousin recommended it to me, and she has had hers for 2 years. I love chewing on ice, and this thing has been such a great purchase! I absolutely LOVE it!! I recommend this product.

I’m absolutely thrilled with this EUHOMY Nugget Ice Maker! It makes soft, chewable nugget ice just like you get at restaurants and coffee shops—perfect for drinks, smoothies, and iced coffee. The machine heats up quickly and starts producing ice fast, and it keeps up really well even when we’re using it throughout the day. It’s compact, looks great on the countertop, and is surprisingly quiet. Super easy to use and clean, with clear indicators and a generous ice basket. If you’re a nugget ice lover, this is 100% worth it. I honestly don’t know how I lived without it!
