I bought this to take in my hold luggage for an upcoming holiday. For travel purposes, it's a little heavier than I expected, although obviously it's still significantly lighter than the large Tefal steamer I use at home. I'm actually quite surprised by how well it performs. It seems just as effective as my branded, heavier steamer and produces a strong amount of steam. Of course, that may change over time as it develops limescale, but so far I'm impressed. My branded steamer constantly needs descaling, which is certainly affecting its performance. The Jack & Rose steamer is smaller and much lighter, making it easier to handle and manoeuvre. The water tank does empty fairly quickly, but that's to be expected given its compact size. The good thing is that it also heats up very fast. Another thing that I really like is that the water tank can be fully opened to dry. My branded steamer only has a small opening, so it never dries completely and constantly has a musty smell. I originally bought this steamer for travel, but I have a feeling I'll end up using it regularly at home as well, simply because it's so much easier to manoeuvre. With my old steamer, my arm would feel tired after steaming just one garment because of the weight. This one is much lighter and easier to handle, making the whole process far more comfortable.

I’m really glad this travel steamer has dual voltage - it’s been so handy on trips to the US, especially when hotel rooms don’t always have irons available. It heats up quickly, has multiple settings, and does an excellent job at removing creases. It’s perfect for both travel and at home when you have a few items of clothing to get through and don’t fancy bringing the iron out. I haven’t really felt it to be heavy like some of the reviews have said. It’s compact and comes with a nice bag. It’s powerful enough to handle wrinkles - I’ve tried it on linen, cotton shirts, silk dresses and works a treat. I had a minor issue initially, but it was promptly resolved by Jaina in customer service, who was fantastic to deal with. Overall, this is a well designed and reliable steamer that I highly recommend.

To start with, the item is well packaged and easy to use. It's light, has a long enough lead to plug into the wall and doesn't seem to leak any water. So far I've ironed a work shirt (cotton) and a pair of chino trousers. In the past I've found the chino trousers difficult to iron every crease out, but with this steam iron on the low setting it made the work very easy and resulted in my chino trousers and shirt to be well ironed and with reasonable speed. There seems to be a decent amount of steam output on both the low and high setting. Though I haven't used the dry iron setting yet. The only inconvenience I can identify at this stage is the small water capacity. On the low steam setting I had to refill from full after 1 pair of trousers and half a shirt. Though, this is only an inconvenience. All together, I'm very happy with the purchase.

This is way easier than getting out the regular iron. Heats up super quickly. Nice long cord. Easy to use. I did a long linen shirt and pair of linen trousers on one “tank” - just to get out a few creases from packing. Works well. It isn’t cheap but it’s a good option for those that travel.

A fantastic little steamer. Doesn't leak water. Great results and steams creases out quickly. I used one on my daughter’s wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses with fantastic results. And immediately purchased one for myself. The only drawback is the water tank capacity is small but that’s the only negative.

We had been looking everywhere for a travel steamer that we could take on holiday to the US and would adapt to varying voltages. We’re so glad we found this steamer, it’s amazing!! If in doubt, go for it, super easy to use, really quick to heat up, the twist head is so helpful, long cable and makes light work of clothes to get rid of all the creases. Husband uses it for overnight stays with work where he wants to smarten up his shirt or trousers. I also use it at home in the mornings for a quick steam or t shirts or the kids uniform. We did develop an issue later with the water tank developing a crack, but when I contacted the company directly on email, they were extremely quick to respond and once I’d given my order details they traced my original order and offered to quickly dispatch a new one to me, it arrived a day later. Jaina was very friendly and helpful via email and it’s nice to see a company with great customer service standing by their warranty on a product.

I bought this about a year ago and it’s been a great product but stopped working. I have to say the customer service has been brilliant. The product has a 2 year warranty, so I emailed Jack and Rose direct and within the week I had a replacement. A massive thank you to Jaina, who was just what you hope for when you engage with a customer service team. Highly recommend and I am back to steaming my wardrobe! Thanks Jaina!

Stopped working after a year. Quite heavy and sturdy and did a decent job although not well perfect - struggled with the ends which tend to be the most creased spots. Living in London, I always used filtered water for the tank to prevent like scale build up. When I did travel to one destination with it where the water was hard, the steam system got clogged by the mineral deposits and now the steamer doesn't work at all - doesn't extract any water from the tank or when is does, is leaking water from the sides. £40 for a year of light use I'd say is not the best value for money. Will try and review another brand.
