Great rack, inaccurate instructions
This is a very well-built rack, rated to carry 27 kg, great value at this price. It is a bit heavy. The instructions are inaccurate so here's the beta: (1) Don't tighten anything down until it's all assembled. (2) Start with the bolts that go into your bike frame. These have to go in straight and smooth. You may want to use blue threadlocker on the forward/upper pair of bolts. (3) Attach the rack platform to the two side frames. At this point you may have to set the height adjustment shown but not described in step 5 of the instructions, so that the platform rides high enough to clear your wheel and to provide clearance if you have a light or radar unit to mount at the back. My bike has 29" wheels and I had to raise the height about an inch. (4) Carefully bend the mounting bracket arms to align with the rack platform and insert bolts so that the platform rides level. Note that you need 2 washers on each bolt to do this, due to the small size of the bolt heads. My kit was short one washer. (5) If everything looks good, go around and tighten all the bolts, starting with the ones that go into your bike frame. Don't go crazy, these are small bolts and don't need a lot of torque.

Kind of hard to put on but good otherwise
Iโve been really happy with this purchase. It arrived in great condition, feels well made, and works exactly as described. The quality exceeded my expectations for the price, and I wouldnโt hesitate to recommend it to anyone considering it.

Nice bike rack but with a but.....
Make sure you check that the bike rack you are buying will fit your bike. This is the second one I bought because I did not read all the details on the first and it did not fit my bike. I bought this one and this works great. Pretty simple in installation and instructions were pretty not real clear but got it put together. Although when screwing it into the bike frame I the screw on the drive side of the bike ended up hitting the sprockets. You might be able to see in the photos. I had to use a nut as a spacer to prevent it from hitting the sprocket. But while it was a minor issue I really did not have a problem with it. I dropped the review by one star as this could have been addressed by an additional spacer and/or some additional info in the instructions. But.....I would not let that avoid you from buying this rack.

Best Bike Modification
I bought the version without a basket as the flatter surface allows for more customization, including making my own basket to fit my specific needs. This thing is an absolute game changer if you're looking to transport anything on a bike. It's highly functional, installs easily, and there's plenty of places to hook bungee cords or tie some string to hold anything down. There is even some convenient spacing between the end rails to fit a few nuts and bolts (with washers) if you wanted to afix a milk crate, a larger flat surface, or anything else really. That seems to be a happy accident versus part of the design, but I'll take the W. I haven't needed to max out the weight rating, but I've easily had anything from 30lbs of weight in a backpack (using some scrap plywood and those nuts and bolts mentioned before) to a few pizza boxes (without any modification) and never lost anything, even on some poorly paved roads. It's been strong and steady for a few years now. I haven't done this yet, but you could easily clip some larger bags to the side, but I'd again suggest some scrap material to keep straps from getting caught in spokes. Instead, I currently have a handle bar bag on one side for roadside repairs plus other small accessories along with a thick cable and my heavy d-locks on the other side (one for my quick release front wheel and one for the bike frame). It only takes losing one bike to take security seriously, even if it's a crappy bike!

Terrific rack
Got this for my son's Kona hardtail. It went right on with no issues, it seems very sturdy, and it's surprisingly light. I'm more familiar with the pricier US-made racks from years ago, but this compares very well. Looks like it will fit almost any 27-29" wheel bike with the mounting eyelets required (see seller's photos).

Fit great on my 23 checkpoint
Got this for my upcoming bike trip is a pretty solid rack and held my panniers well in a test run! If it leaves me high and dry I'll update if not I recommend it! I'm not sure what makes the other racks worth $100 when stuff like this exists. It came with everything I needed to install it, and the front arms seem undersized at first but the whole thing is sturdy once fully mounted.

Good
Works with my rear caliper brakes unlike other brands.

Good quality but terribly designed
Sturdy so far. But the mechincal design is so terribly unfriendly, wasted tons of time. I have installed ~12 racks for my cousins and such and never have I spent so much time like on this one. You save 10 bucks buying a cheaper item and end up spending 2 hours extra on it, is that worth it? Proablly yes for those who manufactured it, but not for you.

Great Rear Bike Rack. Fact!
BEST bike accessory mistake, EVER!?... Great CXWXC rear bike rack well designed, excellent quality, black aluminium, shiny steel support struts, extra 'T' shaped fixing plate* & plenty of nuts/bolts left over (very useful if any become loose/lost) the rack is a DIY self build product, that was my BEST mistake, ever! Once I regained my composure because yours truly didn't realise this is a flat pack rack i.e. not constructed as one piece but several, gulp!... However, compared to the alternative options I'd researched in depth, this was excellent value for money, bonus prize was an Amazon/seller's 'lightning discount' offer at the time (August 2025) the cost was a no-brainer and it was easily assembled within an hour or so. Attaching the DIY built rack to the bike took no time at all, for anyone with basic knowledge & DIY skills it's a very straightforward process, afterall, it's not rocket science folks, it's only a bicycle rear rack. No doubt you will have some tweaking issues but that's also the fun of it plus the satisfaction you will feel with a job well done with a sturdy, solid and robust rack that looks the business in black, ok spray it your own colour if you must, personally the contrast with midnight blue is what this rider wanted! The manufacturer has really thought about the needs of bicycle owners and has provided plenty of nuts & bolts + spacers (washers) & an additional fixing plate that enables this rack to be attached to most common types of bike frames, the whole kit is really well thought out and I am super happy with the result! Good choice by this seller to stock such a versatile, well designed and excellent value for money product. I did consider the other option available that comes with a dedicated 'basket' style cage-crate thingy that would be very practical but in my humble opinion, too ugly for the aesthetic consideration going on in my head, probably wished I'd got that instead next time an elasticated bungee cord slips off my improvised solutions... nevva' mind, ay! that's the joy of riding a bike, what's not to like! ๐ตโโ๏ธ๐๐๏ธ๐คธโโ๏ธ

Quality and practicality
Really good quality rear bike rack, easy to assemble and compatible with almost all bikes

Good rear carrier for pack sacks or saddle bags. Solid & well designed. Easy install.
Excellent rack for men's or woman's bike. Easy to install. Does the job of carrying my backpacks for groceries, etc. Love it. Bought it for the extra side supports which keep the bags out of the rear wheel spokes. That's important obviously for rider safety as well avoiding damage to the bike.

Solid and well built
Really nice piece of kit, structurally it feels confidence inspiring - aesthetically itโs nice too. Havenโt had a ton of weight on it yet but we did a campground grocery run and even the single provided bungee really held it all on there.
