Great! Work wonderful, put one over my washer and one over my dryer. They were so simple to assemble.

I bought two of these storage shelves, one for the washer and one for the dryer. I'm very happy with them! They hold quite a bit. On one of them, I have a LARGE tub of liquid detergent (the size with the spigot), a jug of fabric softener, a jug of pre-treater, and a couple of measuring cups. On the other one I have dryer sheets, a small trash can, and room for more stuff if I need it. They were super-easy to put together and to install, and I feel like they were a good value.

I wanted these to be perfect but it could fit better. I have the style washer and dryer in the pictures. It fits but it need the wall to keep it stable for my washer. Dryer fits a little better.

My main concern was keeping my cats out from behind the appliances. When I first moved in, one jumped back there and couldn't get out. I have arthritis and couldn't pull out the washer or lift the cat. I had to push blankets behind my washer for him to climb out, but he was too traumatized to walk up the easy access exit I provided. He gave new meaning to the word "caterwauling." I had to shoo him with a broom to get him to climb out. With my new Over-The-Washer Storage Shelves, no more dramatic rescues for us! I read all the reviews before buying this and decided to go for it, despite my mismatched washer/dryer combo. I couldn't be happier. I put two shelves together in 5 minutes with a screwdriver. The one caution I'd give is that when you manually bend the curved, vertical supports to fit your particular appliance, make sure to hold the strip of metal at both ends. That is, don't bend it such that the screwed end takes the force of your bending motion. The little flanges that hold the supports to the wire shelf are only spot welded. I heard one crack a little, meaning it was going to break. I realized my mistake (and it is my mistake, since I know about fulcrums and direction of force) and just gripped the metal strip at both ends to bend it between my two hands. They bent to shape easily. It took a couple of tries to customize and level each shelf, but it was a no-brainer and needed very little strength. Here is the great part: I have an unmatched washer and dryer. The dryer is an Admiral with a curved top and no lip; it slants backwards at quite an angle, and the top edge is not level front to back. The washer is a Kenmore with a lip, a flat top and all rectangular edges. The two shelves worked equally well for both washer and dryer. The angle I bent the supports was different for each, but they work great. This is a light-duty, easy to assemble product that worked as advertised for me.

This is the 2nd one of these I've bought. The 1st one is over my washing machine, holding detergents, dryer & color catchers sheets. I love how it keeps everything organized & easy to reach. My cat loves looking out the windows at where she CANNOT go. So, this one is now next to the 1st one but over the clothes dryer, which is right in front of the laundry room window. I put a blanket in it, raised the window & Lola hopped right up & is watching EVERYthing. She's 10 lbs & it doesn't wobble a bit. So, think outside the box when you buy one of these. They are very well-made & sturdy. It think it would be good for outside planters with drain holes in them, too. It would allow the water to drain better than if they were in a planter tray or on the ground. Might need a 3rd one (& 4th one?) to hang on the side of the shed for some additional gardening space.

We live in a condo that was converted from an old apartment complex. The laundry room is just merely an extension of the galley kitchen, washer and dryer facing each other, with a tiny almost useless 2 shelf cabinet above each one. We are also lacking in closet space at this current place of residency, so above the washer is everything laundry related (detergent, dryer sheets, etc.) along with all of the household trash bags. Above the dryer is things like upholstery cleaners, spray paint, WD-40, and household cleaning products like Bleach, Windex, Swiffers, etc. It is an absolute disaster seeing as we have no garage, outside storage, or extra closets. I purchased these and have been super pleased with some of the space they created for me. Easy to install, the precise measurements of a standard washer/dryer unit, and very easy to install, comes with everything needed. Above the washer is now all of the laundry detergents/softeners, above the dryer is dryer sheets, bra-bags, and swiffer dust sheets. It allowed me to better organize this tiny section of my house and create a space for car washing supplies in one of those stupid tiny cabinets. As mentioned, these are really awesome, and don't seem like they would fall apart over time or anything like that.

Not a good fit if the top of the appliances are rounded but can be adjusted. Have to be careful with balance.
