Our first dehydrator was one of those round, black passive coil with air vent types that you could get at Kmart in the 80's! We still have one up on a shelf. Rather that dust that thing off we did some research and decided on this YASHE food dehydrator and have found it to be an excellent investment. We've made jerky and other dried meats as well as a ton of banana chips and other types of dried fruits for storage and future use. It's super easy to use, quiet, and relatively inexpensive to use, especially if you run it mostly in the daytime with solar. It has all of the features that you'll want for a home dehydrator such as timer, temperature controls, easy-cleaning racks, as well as rack liners that allow for air movement but help reduce any dripping from juices or marinades used in prepping your food. It even has a light so you can check on the progress without opening that door! We're really loving this new dehydrator and can definitely recommend it.

I love this dehydrator! It has a nice compact design, the temperature control is easy to use and accurate. The drying times are suggested, so keep an eye on your food. If you go by the instructions, it is spot on, but of course will require adjusting due to thickness and type of food being processed. It is well built, it holds a lot of items. I love that it comes with metal and plastic shelve covers. It cleans easily and works great.

I made beef jerky last week in 6 hours. Just made my first successful yogurt. Took about 14 hours, when firm on sides. Room for 6 quarts. Don't get the plastic round racks. Only good for jerky and fruit. Hard to clean, breaks easy. The racks on this is fairly easy and doesn't stain. Only used 2.5 racks for two pounds of meat. It's small enough to fit on your counter top, but do Amazon amount of food for it's size.

We have an older model that we have used quite awhile. Had another model but it didn't work as well this year so decided to order new. Placed order and got delivered very quickly. Was impressed it had a tray in the bottom to collect the juices. Our old one did not, but was able to put a cookie sheet in and now perfect! We set our apples at 140 degrees for 24 hours and they come out perfect! So glad we bought this dehydrator! This newer model has little noise, a timer setting, and 9 trays although smaller, but more.

Seems to take longer to dehydrate than my other dehydrator. Quality seems good but is smaller for the money than other brands.

This is a good purchase for the price.

Dehydrates well but timer stopped working after 2 months of use. Timer is not accurate.

I love this dehydrator! It's simple to use and holds a lot of food. The only thing that could make it better for me would for them to include a couple solid sheets for paste like fruit roll ups

Het item zelf is een prima voedseldroger. Wat hier wel jammer was..het boek zat er tot 2 keer toe niet bij. Wel een vergoeding hiervoor gehad van Amazon. Prima afwerking.

Este deshidratador YASHE me ha sorprendido muy positivamente. Tiene una potencia alta (800W) y alcanza la temperatura adecuada muy rápido. La distribución del calor es uniforme, así que los alimentos se secan bien sin quemarse ni quedar húmedos. Las 9 bandejas de acero inoxidable son muy prácticas: se limpian fácilmente y no retienen olores. Además, vienen con rejillas finas y una bandeja especial para rollos de fruta, lo que permite preparar distintos tipos de alimentos al mismo tiempo: frutas, verduras, hierbas o incluso carne para jerky. El panel LED es sencillo y el temporizador de hasta 48 horas resulta muy útil, sobre todo si quieres dejarlo funcionando por la noche. También me gusta que sea silencioso y que el aire circule de forma constante. En resumen, un deshidratador grande, potente y bien diseñado. Ideal para quienes quieren preparar sus propias meriendas naturales en casa.

For the price paid (Amazon prime sale, 170 or so) this food dehydrator works great. It’s super spacious with 9 racks, plenty of room and not overly big either. Lighter then expected and runs super quiet, you can barely hear a hum. Comes with an instructional booklet to do all sorts of different recipes if you fail to think of some ideas. Everything is stainless steel and it’s super easy to clean. No plastics. Very clear to understand buttons. Overall a great purchase.

Allora l'oggetto fa esattamente quello che dice, funziona bene. Tutto in inox, vassoi a rete inclusi. Faccio essiccare i pomodorini in un quarto del tempo che ci metterei al sole. Se posso fare un appunto, e' praticamente privo di isolamento termico, questo significa che un sacco di potenza viene sprecata disperdendola dalle pareti. Punti di forza: oltre che inox, e' ben ventilato. Lo uso oltre che per i cibi per essiccare i rotoli di filamento della stampante 3D. Si comporta ottimamente.

The oven works perfectly. Pros: The temperature control is accurate: when I set it to 40 °C, the oven fluctuates gently between 35–40 °C, which is exactly what I want. The racks are very well made – stainless steel and sturdy. The fan is fairly quiet, producing only a soft humming sound. It’s comfortable to use even in a living room without being distracting. Con: The only minor downside is that the window in the door is plexiglass instead of real glass. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this oven. It’s solid, quiet, and does exactly what it promises.
