I don't impress easily & I do write reviews often as I rely on them to help me & hope this one can help you :) Shipping took a pretty long time & I do have Prime. Just be aware it's probably not going to be here in a couple days, so plan accordingly. Stability is awesome! The feet are angled and wide. No amount of twisting while on the top step (within reason) was going to make the ladder fall. The steps are very stable, study, & secure. I read a review from someone who said this is not a great but good enough & it will do. I disagree. I think this is the best home ladder I've ever had! At 5'2" on a feeling tall day, I need a ladder because the kitchen countertop is always in places I need to reach things, like in the living room so I can dust the fan attached to a cathedral ceiling. The steps are textured so even when I get on it in just my socks, I don't feel like I'll slip off. There is a handle at the back (front??) that has a securely attached neoprene type material. It's not slick so a person will feel stable while holding on to it. It folds up & down very well & there isn't any grit or tension that would make it too difficult but it also doesn't swing open freely. It's really made for Goldilocks because it's just right ;) I was able to fold it up & put it between the fridge & kitchen countertop but eventually moved it to a closet to keep it out of sight. It is somewhat heavy because it is constructed well, but again, being just 5'2" & 125, I can easily move it from room to room & I'd imagine someone a little taller would be able to move it even easier. I can drag it across the carpet when I need to move it & it moves smoothly. I really feel like I bought a quality product & would definitely use this seller again for similar products. I'll just be aware of shipping times.

ups destroyed box but was okay once removed from shrink wrap. First test was on porch to test if would hold my weight of 215 pounds with shoes on. next test was inside with only socks on. on third step, my head was just below my 8 foot ceiling which is where I need to replace a kitchen light fixture. it was stable and the steps did not crack. I would not use this ladder to carry heavy items as the plastic steps do not have any metal supports. also in cold weather the plastic would be more brittle. I have other ladders outside but they get spiders on them. got on sale so this was a good fit for me. would buy again! made in Turkey part of which is in Europe

This step ladder has proven itself indispensable to me many times since I’ve had it. I used it while setting up my new pergola for everything from lifting the construction up to adding finishing touches like hanging the lights. It is sturdy and well made. The steps are wide and I feel comfortable and safe using it. It is something I will use often for adjusting the shade sail, which is the main reason I bought it. I’m finding it handy for so much more than that though. Many instances where I’d want a step ladder but only using the first few steps, this is much more lightweight and easy to use. It is really compact in size so I store it in a small garden shed. This was a great buy for me.

I am 330 pounds and the last ladder I had was a little sketchy. I found this one, 500 pound rated. NOT SO. The bottom bar that reinforces the first step getting onto the ladder bent and the plastic cracked. If it did this under my weight then it certainly will not hold 500 hundred pounds as stated. Do not purchase this if you weigh more than about 250 pounds. It is not safe.

I purchased 2 of these stools. One for me and one for my sister. They are nice stools. I purchased them for the weight rating. I have used my stool a handful of times and the second step is cracking down the center the short direction. Im afraid it'll continue to get worse and fall apart. Other than this one issue i love the stool and so does my sister. I dont know if there are replacement steps or not?!?
