The Rolls-Royce of Fans
I absolutely love this fan. It’s easily the best fan on the market with no competition, even better than any Dyson fan. It’s also the nicest looking and best quality built fan. Most fans are ugly and an eye sore but this fan actually looks nice and doesn’t ruin the look of a room. It’s got ten different fan speeds, from very low to where it gently circulates air low enough that you can’t really feel it blowing unless you’re directly in front of the fan, all the way to very high where it blows tons of air very rapidly and you can easily feel it blowing on you from across the room. One of the best and most unique parts of this fan is that it’s extremely quiet, even on the highest speed. You can’t really even hear it at full speed, which may be an issue for some people who use a fan for the ambient sound. If that’s you, do not buy this fan because it’s whisper quiet. But if you want a fan to actually blow and move air efficiently, this is for you. The fan head and blades themselves are surprisingly small, which initially had me concerned it wouldn’t move air enough for me, but I assure you it’s more powerful than any large box fan and moves far more air. It also has 7 different oscillation levels, from barely moving all the way to near 360° rotation. The fan itself can be raised or lowered to whatever height you want. It also has a very heavy base, which makes it very sturdy and difficult to knock over. The remote control offers every available option the fan has too, rather than only controlling fan speed like other fans do. There’s a clip that attaches to the fan as well to hold the remote when not in use. The fan head also can tilt up and down to your desired angle. With all the adjustments, you can easily have it blowing directly on you even when you’re 20ft away. Assembly was very simple and easy too, just attach the base with a simple bolt and that’s it. There’s also a small screen on the fan that shows your fan speed and oscillation setting and it’s bright enough to read from a distance. Yes, there are many other fans available for half the price of this one, but I assure you no other fan has the performance and options nor the quality this one has. It genuinely blows harder and faster than my Dyson fan, and is even quieter. This truly is the Rolls-Royce of fans.

Very Suprised.
Love this fan, the airflow feels like a real breeze, not a blast. What sold me on this fan is how natural the airflow feels. A lot of fans just blow air at you in one stiff, concentrated stream, which gets annoying fast and can feel harsh, especially up close. This one is different — the air moves more like a gentle, rolling breeze, similar to what you'd feel outside on a nice day. It's spread out and soft instead of a single jet of air hitting you. On the lower setting, it's barely audible — genuinely one of the quietest fans I've used. I can run it overnight or while working and completely forget it's on. I also love that you can control how wide the fan swivels. It's stepless, so you're not locked into a few preset angles — you can dial in exactly the width you want, whether that's a narrow, focused sweep or a wide arc that covers the whole room. And when you actually need power, it delivers. Crank it up and it moves a serious amount of air — great for hot days or quickly cooling down a room, without giving up that soft, breeze-like feel on the lower settings. Overall really happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who wants a fan that feels natural, stays quiet, and still has real power when you need it.

Awesome Bedroom Fan – Very Quiet
I was looking for a fan that is quiet like a Dyson but without the price tag of one. I found it in this Dreo 512 Oscillating Standing Fan. I researched the different versions of this fan (there are a few), YouTube has some great video reviews - and they all have different price points. I went with the 512 as it was the least expensive and the reviews were pretty good. This is not a cheap fan, but under $100 so we gave it a shot. WOW – my first impression when I took the components out of the box, every part feels well-designed and solid. This is much heavier than you would think, the base is heavy, the motor is heavy, but not too heavy. It is very easy to assemble, and I used the tool included in the box to screw in the bolt attaching the base to the vertical assembly. I set it up in the living room first to give it a try. The way it pushes air is amazing – I could feel the air moving on speed 4 across the living room into the media room (about 45 feet). The second feature – and the best – was the low noise level, even at speed 9. This is a very quiet fan compared to any of the 10+ other-different fans I own. • The remote is easy to use and I was able to control the fan from the doorway into the bedroom, but you must have line of sight to the base. • Speeds – level 1 is whisper quiet – levels 2 to 4 are very quiet – 5+ raise the noise level but still much more quiet than other fans I’ve used. I did not notice a significant difference in the airflow from levels 5 to 9, these speeds will progressively push the air further, but at level 5 the Dreo fan starts to suck in the curtains. • The oscillating feature is easy to use with the remote or from the pedestal. I had to learn how to click fast through the oscillating modes to get the one that worked the best. • Dimensions – the assembled height at the tallest extension, to the top of the unit is about 43 inches (it can collapse down another 5 inches lower), the mid-point of the motor is at 37 inches from the carpet, and the cord will extend about 65 inches from the wall (max distance before pulling the plug from the wall). I am very impressed with this Dreo 512 fan. We have used it for one night and on speed 3 it was so quiet while pushing enough air to be comfortable. The quality of construction is excellent, but I still got a 3-year protection plan as this is not a cheap fan. I paid a sale price of $86.45, and I find this to be an excellent value – I highly recommend the Dreo 512 fan.

Absolute BEAST.
I have sensory issues from a brain injury, and so airflow is a very serious thing for me. Being in a central Florida apartment means not the most crisp AC all the time. This fan??? Oh, baby. I LOVE it. for one, the sound isn't loud or obnoxious. The speed settings are quite nice, from 1-10 I'd say. It oscillates which is wonderful, and comes with a remote!! The base for the fan is literally heavy. like, it doesn't feel cheap or plastic-y like you'd think from a tower fan. Nope. this bad boy could do some damage, lol. I'd severely recommend this to anyone looking for a good fan for a room, living room. anywhere really. beautiful. Would purchase more, if I needed more fans!!

Comparing this Dreo Pedestal Fan with the Dreo Tower Fan
Back in July I needed a new fan. I had trouble deciding which to get, so I treated myself to two: This Dreo Pedestal Fan (Amazon ASIN: B0CTCWLV35) and the Dreo Tower Fan (ASIN: B08PDDSDHY). This pedestal fan is more like a typical fan (it has a round portion on top that holds the blades). The tower fan is more unusual in that the blades run the length of the unit, which is like a skinny post. Dreo fans are shorter than other fans that I've had, but I think this enables them to have a smaller footprint. By that I mean that the base doesn't need to be as big in diameter to stop the fan from falling over. I like these fans, but they are very different. If you are trying to decide which type to get, perhaps this review will help. DREO TOWER FAN: I put the tower fan in the bedroom because it fits a little space I have in the corner. This fan takes up much less room than the pedestal fan because it's less bulky on top. The fan is quiet. However, noise is different at night when I'm trying to sleep. On its lowest windspeed setting it's almost silent and hard to notice that it's on, but even at this speed, it helps to circulate the air in the bedroom. The number 2 setting is reasonably quiet. I find the number 3 setting to be a little too noisy at night while I'm trying to sleep, but I don't think I would notice during the day. At this 3rd setting, the wind is a little too strong to have it blow directly on me. However, if it's a hot night, my husband likes it at this stronger setting and positions it to blow across the foot of our bed, which is comfortable for both of us. The fan has additional, more powerful settings (it can go up to 6), but we don't tend to use them. The fan noise isn't bad during the day, but the 3rd setting is the most I can tolerate at night. The tower fan can be set to rotate or be stopped to blow in one position/direction. A problem is that it can rotate only at its maximum (120 degrees). I would have preferred that it be customizable to rotate perhaps 45 degrees or 90 degrees. 120 is too much for our bedroom, as it tends to blow things that we don't want to have blown. Another thing to be aware of is that the tower fan can blow only across (horizontal to the floor). You cannot change the angle of the air to blow up or down. It's fine for blowing in the direction it is facing, but as the fan is short (the top of the blades is about 3 feet from the ground) the wind is only from about the base of the blades to 32 inches from the floor. If you want to feel the wind higher up than 3 feet, then this is not the fan for you. DREO PEDESTAL FAN: It's about the same height as the tower fan, but the tower fan is shaped like a rectangular post (6x6) with a wide, circular base.. The pedestal fan has a skinnier post, but a MUCH bulkier top. It's blade portion is about 12 inches across in diameter and almost 8 inches thick, so it looks like a pot turned sideways. However, the pedestal fan is more versatile than the tower. Like the tower fan, it has a maximum rotation of 120 degrees, but the rotation can be adjusted so it can turn in a smaller arc (or stopped to point in a specific direction). Another important difference is that the round portion holding the blades can be tilted to change the direction of the air flow. The pedestal fan can blow across (horizontal to the floor) or tilted up. It can blow straight up (90 degrees) or anything between 0 degrees (horizontal) or 90 degrees. (One problem I did encounter was that the manual didn't say that it was okay to grab it and tilt it manually. As this was an expensive fan, I didn't want to break it, so I at first flipped thru the manual to see if there was a button I needed to push to change the tilt. There isn't. However, I stop the fan from rotating before I tilt the blades--just to be extra careful.) The pedestal fan has 9 different windspeeds (the strongest is called turbo), so it can make a MUCH stronger breeze than the tower fan. As it's in the living room, we haven't tried to sleep with it, but if it were in the bedroom I assume I would have it at a low setting to reduce noise. If we are watching tv, I usually don't set it stronger than a 6, though I could probably go a little higher if I needed to. The airflow is fine for circulating air. I've been happy with it. However, based on the other reviews, I had expected this fan to create a much stronger breeze than it does. I suspect that the reviewers have only had wimpy fans to compare it to. I can understand that. Although I used to be able to find good, powerful fans, lately it's been hard to find any fans that make a good breeze--and most are very, very noisy. In comparison to other fans, I think the Dreos are fairly quiet. The amount of noise they make is low in relation to the amount of air they move. Holmes makes a nice fan that is cheap--around $30? It's quiet and looks nice, but unless I'm less than 5 feet away, I don't feel any breeze. In comparison to this fan, either Dreo is very powerful. It can make a strong breeze that I can feel several yards away. Both come with a remote, but I prefer to use the controls on the unit. The one problem I have with the pedestal fan is that I tend to accidentally touch the controls when I want to pick up the fan--but it's a minor inconvenience. Another thing to be aware of, is that the pedestal fan is easier to clean than the tower fan. That is, you can take more of it apart to get at any trapped dust, fur or hair. For the tower fan, you're pretty much limited to vacuuming the outside. So far, I'm happy with these fans. I would give the tower fan 4 stars and this pedestal one 5 stars. I like that the tower fan is so small and skinny. Even though it's not as versatile/powerful as the pedestal one, it's fine for our bedroom. I've used the pedestal fan a lot more because it can blow up or across. I've often moved it around the room on hot days. For a few months, I left it on 24/7. Now that the weather is colder, I don't need the fans so much. I hope they will work next year when the weather warms up.

Get this fan
I’m going to start with the ONLY thing that isn’t perfect with this fan, the noise after you hit a certain speed. Anything beyond a 4 is “loud” for me when sleeping. I’m someone who prefers absolute silence and darkness. I will say, that level 5 is tolerable if I truly need an increase of air circulation. 6+ is too loud for me to sleep. It’s great during the middle of the day though. Level 4 is perfect for me while sleeping. It blows sufficient air to assist my a/c in keeping my room cool. I bought this to help my room stay cool so I don’t have to turn my a/c down so low (high electric bill). It’s helping. I’ve turned my thermostat up 4° and I’m still comfortable at night. This has some extra bells and whistles that I haven’t read about. I just turned it on, made sure to understand the osculation feature, and skipped everything else. I think it has a timer. Does it have a program???? I’m not sure, but tonight I came home & didn’t turn my fan on because it was raining & much cooler in my house than normal. I went into the other room & when I came back, the fan was on — on level 4!!! There’s no one here but me. So either I have a ghost, or it has some sort of program and I’ve accidentally set it (I did push all the buttons on the remote but I thought I turned them off). I have had this for several days now, and typically turn it on when I get home. I don’t think it’s a “smart” fan, but alas, I didn’t read the instructions. Assembly was extremely easy. It comes with an Allen wrench for one bolt. Anyway, if you’re thinking about getting this fan, you should. Chances are, unless you need a completely silent fan, you’ll love it.

Expensive but worth the cost
High quality fan. Almost like it was “Apple” or “Dyson” product with how good the product feels. The 120 degree L to R oscillation really provides great coverage. This fan doesn’t have the up down oscillation so you have to manually adjust it for that. I’ve had regular standing fans and vornado fans in the past and this fan is whisper quiet compared to those fans. 9 modes from level 1-8 then turbo for really powerful air circulation. Comes with a remote, can’t speak on its range but it always responsive when I use it from my couch. This is the most expensive fan I’ve ever purchased, but I’d buy it again as it’s far superior to regular old fans everyone is accustomed to.

The best fan I’ve used in the Texas summer, no contest!
I was skeptical at first that this fan was going to be any different than the zillion I’ve owned over the last 22 years of living in Texas summers. This baby blows those old ones away, pun intended. Our A/C doesn’t circulate the air as well to one particular part of the house which happens to be our bedroom. And given how powerful the airflow is from this fan and also how quiet it runs I’m buying a second one. The turbo mode makes our living room feel 10 degrees cooler immediately. It looks nice. The control of the direction of the flow, including straight up, makes it super versatile. Worth every penny.

Very quiet and powerful.
Fast delivery. Took less than five minutes to setup. Very quiet, even on Turbo it's quieter than the old-fashion fans on the slowest setting, and it gives a lot of power. The remote is ok, the icons are white on mid-grey background; why can't they put the icons on black background, much easier to see. So far used it for only 2 days but I'm quite happy with it and would buy again if needed. Do recommend this fan.

quickly becoming dreo's number one fan
amazing fan - so quiet.. to the point i've left it on without realising when it's on its quietest setting.. it really is THAT QUIET when you have it down low and you can literally tilt it low enough for any situation... if required..? on its highest setting it delivers a breeze alright. not only that, but it's simple to put together and the remote control is literally very handy. i just leave mine on the bedsheets when not in use outstanding quality and an investment with all these heatwaves.
