5 Stars for the product itself. I have used ‘The Curl Crush’ for a few years and feel it does well to encourage my curls. Even on the in-between washing days, using a quarter-sized drop helps to refresh and spring my curls back into shape. I still use a couple of other curl products to moisturize and seal in the shape but this works well in the process! It is not sticky on the hair nor crunchy. I feel it leaves soft, well-defined curls after blowing dry with a diffuser. I also love the scent of this. It’s a vanilla-y, cake-y :) scent which I particularly like. I recently re-ordered this here as I have not been able to find it in stores anymore, which makes me worried that they’ve discontinued it. The listing shows ‘The Curl Crush’ in the description as well as the picture of the bottle clearly labeled ’The Curl Crush'. However, I was sent ‘The Curl Friend’ with a purchase sticker, stating ‘The Curl Crush’. I know it may seem like small details but these two are not the same. The product I was sent also has a lemony scent that is too strong for me. I requested a replacement and was sent the incorrect product again. *Second picture uploaded with the old bottle of product on the left, that I already had (which is what is shown in the original listing) and the product I was sent. If ‘The Curl Crush’ is no longer available, it would be helpful to change the listing to such so that this doesn’t happen to someone else hoping to order the non-lemon scented product.

Love this gel! Great natural product that has just the right amount of hold and I love the lemony scent too!!! Not greasy at all andc using the appropriate amount for your hair results in great curl definition without being too heavy!

I bought this to try when I ran out of my other curl gel that was just meh. I chose this one because it’s cruelty free, has a cute package, and the scent looked good and it’s very affordable. For starters, the smell is delicious!! Smells like lemon bars. If you don’t like sweet smells pick something else. This smells divine for those who like scented products. It smells edible. I do find the scent doesn’t last super long so it really doesn’t make a ton of difference. The texture is nice, it is a creamy gel and not sticky or super crunchy like traditional gel. I have fine wavy/curly hair (2B ish) and this worked well for me, I think if you have curlier hair it may not work as well as some other products. I applied it to wet hair along with a glossing product and a leave in conditioner spray, air dried for 30 mins then diffused and my hair is nice and curly and shiny and feels way more moisturized than normal but I notice less volume which is the only reason I knocked off a star. Maybe this plus a mousse at the root would make it a little more bouncy but overall I like it.

It’s a big bottle and the product is really really good. It’s a gel that helps natural curls stay in. It has a great smell and it’s definitely worth it. I haven’t ran out yet, but I’ll buy another one because it’s really good.

Loved it on my curls . Really helped bring them out and get bouncer with a little bit of scrunching.

Smell is delicious and product leaves my hair feeling great. Not too crunchy but on the flip side of that I haven’t gotten it to hold my wave/curl super strongly. Maybe I am not using enough? Either way I love it cause I’m more of a rather soft and less defined than crunchy and super defined for my own hair. Would totally recommend!

Didn’t work well with my curly hair but the smell was wonderful. I gave it to my curly haired Grandaughters

I really like this curl product. It smells delicious. It is made in Canada! And best of all, my curls don’t get crunchy. It works fairly well after I towel dry my hair, use the product and let it air dry. If I don’t have time to wash my hair the next day, I can mist my hair with water and the product will help tighten up my curls again.

Out of all the expensive curly products, this one takes the CAKE! 🤣 Incredible product - light and smells divine! My kids love it too! Love that it’s Canadian too! It really is my go to for perfection! Both my son and I have opposite curls (his are more tight/cool/frizz, and mine are loose and soft), and this product looks amazing on butch. No residue either! I went through absolute hell for a time, trying to get my curls back. This is the only product that worked! ❤️

Not sticky, smells delicious and doesn’t leave your hair crunchy.
