Quite expensive, but quality materials for a non-standard cable. Worked perfectly with PCIe 4.0 M.2 NVMe solid state backup drive in a removable caddy.

Don't waist your money
The converter was a waist of time as it did not recognize the SAS drive via Disk Management. Sent back for a refund

I thought this was the be all to end all, was wrong! I bought a bunch of SAS HDDs unknowing that there is virtually nothing for a SATA MB conversion! Wish I could be directed without a lot of red-herrings saying so! I'd like a real help answers than already!!!

completely not suited for the goal. Yes you can connect, but it will never work due to technical limitations. SATA can never control and power SAS disks
