Extension cables are available to buy..
This is the standard connection fitting, so buying extension cables to go round Fridges etc is easy. The first set I bought where "pushfit" connection, could find extensions anywhere. So, great set of flights!!

Connect and check before you install.
Used these lights for kitchen plinth. Didn’t check before installing but one of the lamps is warm white whilst the other 9 are cool white. Luckily I only needed 9. Easy to install and can be run off a light switch

Longevity = Not at all.
Lasted less than a year. They just started going out one by one over the course of a few months. Now none work. Well protected and sealed, no traffic on them as it is under a handrail. Would not recommend.
