So we bought a king size (different company and weight) originally and I almost suffocated and had an anxiety attack trying to lift it on the bed. This is the perfect size and weight for actual use. Can move it at night and it actually is soft and easy to clean.

A little undersized, but it’s too heavy to ride up, so overall... we love it!

This blanket is a game changer for my 8 year old who suffers from pretty serious bedtime anxiety. After months of trying every thing under the sun to ease his anxiety I finally ordered this blanket as a last resort. I'm not exaggerating when I say we saw improvement from night one with this blanket. Since buying this blanket my son falls asleep so, so much faster and sleeps deeper and longer. Instead of his anxiety keeping him up for hours after bedtime (on bad nights up past 12am) he is asleep within 30-45 minutes since buying this blanket. This blanket is worth it's weight in gold. If your child suffers from bedtime anxiety you know the toll it takes on the whole family. Blanket details: My son sleeps in a full size bed so I ordered the 48/78 size and it fits perfectly on the top of his bed. We live in Florida so I was worried about the added warmth of a weight blanket, but being this one is 100% cotton it breathes well. My son is a warm sleeper and when I asked if his new blanket is too hot he says "No! It is perfect and cozy!" It also has loops around the outside of the blanket so it could attached to a duvet. The navy cotton is a true navy and soft to the touch with a touch of sheen.

When it got delivered, the cover/bag holding both the blanket and the duvet cover I bought were opened and the blanket arrived with threads and "dust" from the delivery. Not sure if this is the fault of the seller or not. The tag on the blanket was completely cut off and hence there is no cleaning instructions. The reviews all state different instructions on how to actually clean this blanket, if you look up the twin version of this blanket it says spot clean and flat dry, while the official instruction from the tag on the blanket says dry clean. Maybe that is why it was cut off so people do not dry clean the blanket as it may have been the wrong instruction??? But if you remove the tag and do not put instructions on how to clean the blanket and have to dig through reviews to come to a conclusion it is not a good look. I have no idea how to clean the actual blanket now except for using a lint collector to pink up all the dirt from the blanket and use the duvet cover and pray I do not dirty the bed if the duvet cover were to open. As for the blanket itself, its a weighted blanket and serves its purpose well. This blanket along with the duvet costs about $100SGD when I bought it which is a lot cheaper than others. Its a shame the cleaning instruction is non existent and if you are worried about your hygiene like I am it is a headache to try to find a way to clean it.

My toddler hasn't slept through the night his whole life (our doing he was premature during the worst part of the pandemic and we didn't know how big of a mistake we were making when we rocked him to sleep half his life). He would wake up 2-3 times a night to have one of us lay with him until he fell back asleep. I was grasping at straws and ordered this blanket. We are on night 4 of sleeping through the night with the extra pressure. We are amazed!
