Superb. Very good tawa. Dosas come out very well and don't stick to the tawa. Not much seasoning was required.

Many of us purchase a product with the brand value hoping that such products maintains minimal quality and standards. Pigeon is also considered to be one among the popular brands in our country. Their claim here that this product is a pre seasoned cast iron tawa is just a marketing gimmick. It's is not naturally non stick as there is no pre seasoning carried out as claimed. Upon purchase of this product it was used as it is to cook Dosa. This was a disaster. The batter stuck to the tawa on the total surface. It was immersed in water for about 24 hours for removal of the stuck batter. Further, we seasoned it for 24 hours, by applying oil. The status continues. Since I have used the product, I am not in a position to return it also. Wisely trapped by Pigeon. Now we are seasoning it on a daily basis. The status quo continue since the last 4 days. It may take atleast a couple of weeks to get it seasoned. Pigeon marketing team may understand that their strategy by making a false claim to sell their products will fetch ignominy to the brand value of which the repercussions is needless to be reiterated.

Review 1: (Unboxing and First Impressions) I was in doubt while purchasing this product as many other customers had complained about burning hands due to lack of insulation. I had used Pigeon products in the past so I still gave it a try. Overall Pan is of good quality. But what surprised me was a small rubber grip that came separately to take care of burning issue. It was a small addition to the product but made a huge impact.

Average quality . It does not heat uniformly . So when you make a Dosa or chilla,some portion does not cook or get crisp as good as the remaining portion.
