Review: You will get charged import costs - The import costs were a surprise to us as we had already paid £100 for delivery However this works well in our caravan... it won't be cold but will be about 10 degrees lower than outside

**Q: Is it waterproof? So if theres a storm i can leave it out**
A: The Outdoor unit is IP24 protected. If it is to be advised to leave it out in a storm is for you.

**Q: can I use this air con for my flat - hang it outside my window. living room is 20 ft x 10 ft. bedroom even smaller. is it quiet enough to sleep with?**
A: I use it in my small office. I have moved the brackets in such a way that it sits on the window ledge and the bracket holds on to side of the window. The internal unit then sits on a desk, but if the internal unit is at the same level or lower than the external unit, then you will need to attach the hose to constantly drain the internal unit of water. Also, I use a radiator heat shield reflector (which are relatively thick and silver in colour, you can buy from amazon) to block the open window and stop the heat from coming into the room. The only thing is that its not designed to cool a big room, but if you have it next to you then you will certainly feel the cool air. 

I have easily fallen a sleep with it on. its more of a hum rather than a loud noise.

**Q: Do you need to get it re gassed**
A: No

**Q: Can this unit bring temperature down to 19-20*Celsius in a Caravan if outside temperature it!s 30-40’ Celsius.**
A: Yes. We used it in our motorhome on our 8 week tour of Europe last year. It was a life saver.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good bit of kit. A bit on the heavy side but would definately recommend.

Got this for caravanning. Used it last year in France i 40 degree. It performed well, did not get very cold but managed to hold the temperature inside the caravan a good 5-10 degrees lower than outside whicj is enough to stop everything inside the van from melting. Ran it on low overnight when it was really hot which made a massive difference to our sleep quality. It is heavy and needs two people ideally to set up. You can get some vibration coming through nd it is not silent but similar to have a fan runing. The beauty is that it can be used in a 6amp site without blowing the fuse.
