1000LED LED Canopy Light Outdoor, Super Bright 45W 5,300 Lumens, 300W HID/HPS Replacement,10" x 10", Daylight White 5000K, AC110-277V, Ceiling Lighting Fixtures

It is mounted about 9 ft high to the underside of a deck. The light produces daylight like conditions on the porch and spreads usable light about 25 ft to the side.The light comes prepared to wire through the top, but I removed the lens and changed the connection location to one of the side ports. The wiring ports are threaded which permit various types of wiring hardware to be used. I used PVC conduit and screwed the male adaptor into the side port and used the light fixture housing as the junction box. There is more than enough room inside the light housing to use as a junction box to keep the installation looking professional and weatherproof. The appropriate plugs are supplied to keep the housing sealed up. There are various ways to mount the fixture but I just used a scrap piece of lumber to attach it to then screwed the board to the underside of my deck joists.I live in the middle of nowhere where it is DARK at night! This is the best light I have. I hope it lasts a long time.Put your sunglasses on!!Edit: I just turned off all of our other outdoor lights, but left this light on. It is lighting up our property for well over 100 feet outwards from the house. It is providing more light than 4 LED spot lights mounted 28 feet up! (that I was impressed with prior to this new light)

Fantastic! Dreary car port is now one of the brights spots in the house. Really, really bright! Like you can't stare at them bright. I use the car port as part of my wood shop so lighting is critical, especially with old eyes. My wife asked me to turn them off as we were going out to dinner because she thought they might bother the neighbors, that bright.Came extremely well packed, boxes within very thick outer cardboard box. First light took about 30 min. to install (had to figure out mounting bracket, etc.) Second one took 10 min. Easy, Peasy.

Put the light on the ceiling 10'up, over our shoeing stocks. (horses) Wow we can see what we are doing now. Lights up the whole barn work floor. I added an extension box to the 4" square electrical box just to make tucking the wires in easy, after doing that everything went together without any struggle. I plan on adding another light in the birthing stall.

Just buy it, move on. You will be pleased.

This light was very easy to install in my carport as a replacement for the old light fixture. Its also very bright and has exceeded my expectations. Would recommend !

Great area light. Lights up a couple of horse pens extremely well. It's hung under a canopy at 14 feet. This thing IS a little heavy and cumbersome to install when you're up on a ladder.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of illumination provided by this fixture. Two of them completely illuminate my three-car garage/workshop. If you're going to install it flush to the ceiling, it's a bit cumbersome to work with the spring action in the mounting mechanism and to get the cables packed tightly enough to close it but once you do what you need to do, you get a good result. The benefit of the spring mechanism is vastly easier servicing in the future because it makes it easy to access the electrical and replace the whole fixture with one of the same type, but chances are when these are finally replaced, they're going to be something new.
