3 blades is all you need (when the blades are great)
I happened to pick up a razor for traveling, fully expecting to throw it away when the blade cartridge got dull - maybe within the week. And boy, was I WRONG. Wilkinson nowadays is not widely available in these parts, but their refills are fantastic and worth the hunt! They stay sharp longer than the well-known brands without knicks or cuts after the first use.

This is a great razor
The Wilkinson protector 3 is a stern competitor of Gillette. Years ago I got deal on 12 packs of cartridges and decided to buy the razor. I couldn’t find a razor in any local store. Had to order on Amazon and never regretted it. Don’t get me wrong I believe the Gillette Mach 3 is the best razor but this Wilkinson is a close second

Over 200 years, they do know what they're doing.
We have family in the UK and on a trip there I had to purchase a new razor. These blades were amazing! When the blade wore out, I ordered new ones through Amazon for my travel kit just because they were so superior to what I found domestically.

Best blades for shaving in the shower by feel. Equivalent to Schick Protector and Schick Silk Effects. The latter have two blades, but I can't tell the difference. There are others probably just as good but not at this price.

Great balanced razor with protection
This razor is much heavier than the US equivalent Schick Protector. Therefore, better handling and I think the blades are also much longer lasting and smoother. Good product, would definitely recommend.

Very Good value
A good close and inexpensive shave without nicks due to the clever protective wires. Should also work well if you want to avoid razor bumps. Just shave lightly and let the wires keep the cartridge slightly above the skin. You don't need 5 blades. These three are fine.

Great value, I use these together with the twinshaver for well over a year. they last about 4 full head shaves and then I replace them. 5 minutes to shave entire head when I take a shower. Never cut myself. A good shaving cream is recommended, I use Gillette
