I usually turn the clock on for 30 minutes since that is the highest setting and after it’s done they turn out just as good as the gas station hot dogs. You can probably set it for 15 minutes and they will still be very hot. After I’m finished cooking the hot dogs I take a dish cloth with just water on it and wipe the rollers off and the grease just melts. Easy to use. Easy to clean. Fun to have Review: IT WORKS!!! The hot dogs are evenly cooked and buns are warm and toasted. I used jumbo size dogs because only four fit on the rollers. It took about 10-15 mins to cook the hot dogs. The reviews made me really second-guess that this machine was not worth the money. One person complained that you can’t clean it because the rollers don’t detach. It was not hard to clean this machine. I used a rung out hot towel with white vinegar. Do not clean this with it plugged in! Moving on I would recommend this to everyone! Birthdays, camping, work, and at the park! This was the center piece that made everyone smile!
