I have used it 4X's now to brew large enough numbers to make difference. The capsules alone won't do much. Wheat Belly and Super Gut author, William Davis, MD has a YouTube video that showed how to make a very large numbers of microbes to be truly effective. Open a capsule into bottle of fruit juice with pulp and let stand at room temperature for 72 hrs, with the cap on loose or it will explode. CO2 is produced by this yeast. Saccharomyces boulardii is the organism, a yeast, that restores healthy bowel regularity in most people. It only stays in your gut temporarily. No one yet knows why or how it works, but it does. Here's my experience: 1.) It needs a bit warmer than room temperature, 80-90 degrees F. It takes about 3 days to work. You can put it in the oven with just an oven light, but it worked better with me to put the bottle in hot tap water and warm the water 2-3 times a day. 2.) It produces foam that may seep out of the bottle and often knock the cap off. 3.) As Dr Davis said don't use it until the sweetness is gone, showing all the sugar is consumed by the probiotic. That occurs usually on about the third day. 4.) He is right about the pulp. Without pulp, clear fruit juice, almost nothing happens. It needs the pulp to ferment properly. 5.) I drink a half cup 2 times a day, and so far I think it is helping gut regularity. You might want to take less at first to be sure what it will do for you. I just dove in and it is helpful.

I have been using this product for about six months and it has definitely helped with digestion. I quit taking it to a little while and noticed my bloating feelings returned. It is a little expensive but I think it is worth it not to have a bloated stomach.

Studies show that the cultures in this are helpful to gut biome. But do not expect it to control hyper motility of the GI tract. like diarrhea and gas. the effects will not last if you have a more chronic condition. Not sure what my condition is called but i have some symptoms of IBS. Used it for two weeks. Didnt touch my symptoms. I have purchased several different brands with different cultures with have some research behind them. My expectations are low, but hoping for a surprise. It might work for you. But not me. Three stars because they were rated as having proven amounts of claimed culures in reviews from Consumer Labs.
