Switched to help with upset stomach
My dog was having issues with his regular Hills Dog Food, so I tried this variation. It definitely helped and he didn't mind the switch in taste

Best quality
I’ve been purchasing this for years. Keeps the dog from having stomach issues. Well worth the money spent! The dog loves it so it must taste good for pups! I also appreciate yhat you can purchase a larger bag.

My Yorkie Loves It, Gentle on Stomach and Skin
My Yorkie absolutely loves this dog food! It’s gentle on his sensitive stomach and seems to support healthy skin as well. He eats it eagerly every time, and I’ve noticed he seems happier and more comfortable since we switched. The chicken flavor is a big hit too! Overall, a high-quality, reliable food for dogs with sensitive stomachs and skin.

Good for dogs with digestive problems
My Male Sheltie started eating this brand about a year and a half ago. He has digestive issues with other brands which meant he was under weight. Since starting on this brand of food he has gained over 4 lbs., and very active. I’m very please with his progress, in regard to diet.

Good for dogs with rumbly tummies and farting issues
I’ve been purchasing this dog food for about four years for my dog was a sensitive stomach. In the beginning, this seemed to work really well for her. She had much less gas and stomach rumbling lately, however, it started to not work as well. She had to increase gas and I can hear her tummy rumble when she is laying down next to me and we are chilling. I’m not sure what’s going on, if there was a change in how this is made or if it’s a change going on with her… But it’s worth noting. It is an expensive dog food, but for the years of quality it’s given her without what I expect is painful gas, I am happy with it.

Happy Dog-Mom
My dog has pretty severe allergies: general itching all over, very itchy paws (especially back ones) that she would lick and bite at until they were red, frequent yeast growth and severe ear infections (got so bad once that it emitted a horrible odor that smelled like sour milk) in one or both ears, rubbing her face on the ground, and just general discomfort. Because the allergies were so severe, and they could literally be caused by one or any number of things, I was NOT looking forward to potentially embarking on a extremely time consuming and expensive wild goose chase to figure out what was causing her allergies. Additionally, I was concerned about how long she would have to continue to suffer until I could figure it out. I really didn't know where to start with narrowing things down, and then someone suggested to try switching her food out - that's the easiest and least expensive thing to do. I know Science Diet is heralded a very good brand on the less expensive side of the "good dog foods" out there, so it was worth a shot. Before ordering, I called Amazon to see what their return/refund policy on foodstuffs was, in the event that my dog either didn't like the food or that it did not help with her allergies. Amazon customer service informed me that if I didn't like the product for any reason and I notified them within 30 days, they would refund the money and I would NOT have to return the food. Perfect! I ordered it and immediately started transiting my dog to this food. When she finally got transitioned to the point where she was eating mostly the Science Diet (about a week and half after I received the food), the majority of the allergy symptoms that she was experiencing basically disappeared. To date (approximately 1 month later), she has completely stopped obsessively scratching as well as licking and biting her paws. Even her ears cleared up a lot, although they still require weekly/bi-weekly cleaning. I AM SO GLAD THIS FOOD WORKED FOR HER. Additionally, I have found that this food is a lot more filling and she gets full at lot faster. She's not eating nearly as much (and thus not pooping as much), so I'm sure the food itself will last a lot longer! On the downside, I don't think she really cares for the taste. In fact, she started going on a partial food strike earlier this week (she could never just completely stop eating). But I explained to her that this isn't Burger King and you cannot have it your way. I also told her that she wasn't getting anymore treats until she eats her food like she is supposed to. She is now back to eating her food regularly. All in all, this food worked perfect for her! I can't say it will work for all dogs, but at least ordering from Amazon, you can get a refund if you find that it doesn't work.

Finally a food that helps sensitive stomachs
Our latest rescue came to us with a very sensitive stomach. It has been a real battle to get her to eat. We have tried numerous and expensive varieties of kibble. Nothing was working. We mostly boiled chicken, made homemade dog food with veggies, rice, and boiled meat. So much went to waste because she refused to eat it. After seeing so many good reviews I thought I may as well try it. Our saluki/lab mix would turn up her nose and lay down beside her dish because her tummy was in a mess. She would go all day without eating, even though she seemed hungry. And the next morning she would throw up bile because she had nothing in her stomach. In my mind, Hills was always an expensive, vet food that was out of our budget. But seeing all the money we were wasting on real meat I thought I may as well try. Well, finally, success. She liked it from the day we received it. She doesn't eat a lot, only when she is hungry, but at least we found something that agrees with her. I will continue to buy this as long as she eats it. Thanks Hills.

El veterinario nos recomendó este alimento debido a que nuestra cachorra tiene cierta sensibilidad en la piel. Dejó de tener alergia y le gusta mucho.

Only (fairly priced) dog food that didn’t cause diarrhea!
I have a Doberman that is almost 2 years old. He has always had an extremely sensitive stomach and had diarrhea with every pet store food I tried, and trust me I have tried so many; all the different variations (grain free vs with grains, different meat types, fish, etc.) and even tried raw food. Everything gave him diarrhea. Finally we turned to our vet who prescribed the Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein dog food. This stopped the diarrhea which was such a relief, but the food is expensive. It stared at $130 a bag initially and over the course of 9 months has risen to $170 a bag. I was sick of the price gouging so I tried to find another alternative. There was a lot of trial and error and more diarrhea to be had. Eventually I came across this dog food and I wasn’t very hopeful at first due to all the failed attempts, but it’s been 4 months and my dog has had no issues with the food! I’m very happy with the quality and price of this dog food. My dog also eats more often now which is great because he is on the skinny side. This also proves to me that the flavour is more palatable to him than the Royal Canin brand. Highly recommend for pups out there with sensitive stomachs.

Good value for the big bag
My dog likes this kibble as a supplement food to his wet food. No issues as a result of him eating this product
