Good quality, functional water proof bag.
Strong material, sturdy zipper reinforced with velcro, definitely water proof as we traveled through several down pours and everything stayed dry - took note to mount with flap opening at rear of the car, not facing front which may have helped keep the rain from being blown up and into the zipped area. Fit a good amount of our outdoor stuff we didn't want to carry in the car; folding chairs, canopy, buckets, shovels etc... straps were strong and held up perfectly without added help of any bungee cords. Used with a YOULERBU Car Roof Non-slip mat, fit our 2013 Nissan Pathfinder perfectly. Would recommend, would buy again.

Exceeded my expectations!
This worked better than expected on a 17 day, 6700+ mile trip! First concern was leaking: I bagged everything in trashbags before packing; completely unnecessary! Our 2nd day on the road we had torrential rain & everything was totally dry. Somewhere around day 8 we took it through a selfserve car wash to clean off the bugs. Again, completely dry. Day 16-17 it rained off & on all day.... yes it was still dry when we got home! Tearing: We did 6700+ miles over 17 days with some real temp extremes. Packing & unpacking almost daily. There isn't a tear, sag or crack anywhere. I grazed an overhang, no problem! Securing to the car: Tie a knot to the end of the tiedown strap so it doesn't pull through the fitting & you're good to go. The clasps are seriously tight & stayed that way the entire trip. Originally I distributed our gear level. Then I packed low in front, higher in back, creating a more aerodynamic wedge. It stayed put regardless of how it was packed. Overall, great product. Impressive performance IF & WHEN its closed completely & tied down tight - not straining.

Good product for the price
We bought this for a family camping trip in the South and after our first use, we are pleased with it. First off, it is an improvement from the soft-sided cargo pack we used to own (a different brand) as it has 4 more tie-downs and the tie downs have the waterproofing material around them - which the pack we had before did not have. This pack does hold a fair amount. We were able to pack a large Rubbermaid tote in just under ยฝ of it, and then could load additional items in such as a large camping stove, sleeping bags, and folding chairs. We were still able to slide our folding table and even some boogie boards on top which was great! The plastic clips made it easy to fasten on as well (although I do wonder how long until one or more of them break). We did drive through some rain -but not heavy downpours so I canโt say itโs a great water-proof pack for any use but we didnโt have any water come through which was great. That said, we have learned from our road trips through the South that itโs not wise to count on waterproof rooftop storage so we pack everything in plastic boxes and/or cover them in garbage bags or the like (we store our sleeping bags in old comforter bags and those seem to do well for keeping most water out). We learned on a previous trip through Florida (with a different brand cargo pack) that arriving at your destination with wet clothes isnโt worth the risk. I would have reviewed this either way but as other reviewers have stated, a review is required to activate the 2-year warranty.

Survived a trip from NJ to Florida and back!
We bought this storage bag for a trip from Central NJ to Orlando Florida. I drive a 2011 Honda Pilot with a top rack, but don't have any crossbars. I also bought an EasyGO egp-aut-001 Car Roof Top Rack Anti-Slip Padded Cargo Pad to put underneath. I tied the bag to the top of the car with no problems and it was very secure. We drove through a bit of a rain storm in NC, and when we stopped there I noticed that part of the luggage was a little wet, though I expect it was because the flap that comes over the zipper was flipped up. It made it down to Florida with no problem, and made it back with our luggage intact and unshifted. 2000 miles right out of the box. Not too shabby, in my opinion, aside from my con in my "con" paragraph. ADVICE: (1) As advised in other reviews, make sure you load it up as much as you can to fill up extra space. We loaded one large luggage bag, two smaller overhead-type luggage bags, a large Vera Bradley bag, a baby pack-and-play, a tote bag full of kid toys, and bunch of beach towels, and we still could have fit a few more smaller bags inside. Plenty of space that we didn't have in the car with all 4 of my kids and my wife! (2) Make sure the loose part of the straps are wrapped up after tightening and if you use a no-slip pad, make sure you either cut it to size or tuck it underneath the bag in the front. Half the drive down there was a horrible flapping sound and we kept getting nervous the fasteners were loose, but realized later that it was the extra padding flapping in the wind. Once I tucked it under, we forgot the bag was up there. I also didn't notice a huge difference in gas mileage or car handling with the bag up there. It didn't look particularly aerodynamic, but it worked like a charm! (3) The bag has a reinforced zipper that resists leaks, and a flap with strong velcro that covers the zipper. Make sure the flap is down completely, or else the zipper will leak in a downpour. CONS: The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 (aside from the small leak) is because when I was loading it up to come back to NJ, one of the straps broke off the bag itself as I was tightening it to the car. Luckily it was one of the straps intended for a crossbar, so it didn't make a huge difference. Still, I wasn't happy that part of it broke the second time I loaded it up. FINAL THOUGHTS: To make a long story short (too late), we were happy with this cargo bag. It made it through a long trek up and down the east coast of the US with minimal problems, and it was much more spacious than I expected it to be. If it weren't for the strap breaking, I would have given this product 5 stars. I may contact their support to see what they can do for me, though I'm not traveling like that for a long time to come! (famous last words, right?)

Amazing for family trip
Great for a family trip! We put all of our large items into the bag and attached it to the roof. I couldnโt believe how much extra space we had in the car and it was such an enjoyable trip. It rained the whole drive and everything stayed dry and secure. This is a great product at an excellent price! Also made packing up stress free.

Easy to use
This cargo bag worked fantastic on our trip to the beach. We had it loaded with about 6 duffle type bags of clothes, 4 beach chairs, and beach toys. There was still room for more! It held up through many rainstorms. It didn't budge an inch. It stayed very dry inside. It folds up nicely when empty too. It is very thick and sturdy. Highly recommend!

MUST BUY
I purchase this Auperto cargo bag for a trip home. I looked online for about a week to find the best bag. I finally came across this bag and it was within my price range. We have a 2012 Tahoe and was kind skeptical because of the clips. I must say we owe the makers an apology. This bag was amazing. I'm active duty military and use one of my bags when I travel. This cargo held my bag, wife suitcase and my two daughters suitcases. We traveled from Florida to Virginia, 700 miles one way. This bag did not shift nor did the rain affect any of our belongings. Both ways did bag did its job and much more. If I could give it a hundred stars I would. I would recommend this company and bag to anyone, you will not be disappointed.

Bad bad bad
Update 5/23/2021: contacted the seller for a replacement for 2 year warranty that they gave me and am told that I have gotten a replacement once already and that's it. Hahaha. This is a scam. They sell a bad product then replace it with even worse item and that's it. Update 5/8/2021: used the replacement bag on my trip for the first time. Been on the road for 2 days and noticed the seam is coming apart already. Update 7/29/2020: The seller came through. Replacing the item. Shaving one star off for the defect for now. Will update after trying the replacement. Hopefully this was just one bad out of many good ones. Update: One of the zippers doesn't work. It keeps getting stuck. Found this out while on the road with this for the first time. Contacting the seller to request a replacement under warranty. Have not tried it yet but the first impression is really good. All the seams look very well stitched and feels very tough. The instruction is very clear and looks easy enough to put it on my Yakima LoadWarrior roof basket. Will be testing it in about a week or so on my next overlanding trip and will update this review.
