First of all, you grab the appropriately sized collet/drill combination and insert it into the tool. You then adjust the collet with its toothed cup to sit just on the surface of the rivet and lock it into place with the double-threaded nut collar. Then you slowly drill out the rivet, the toothed cup holds the rivet from spinning and the sharp cobalt drill effortlessly drills out the center of the rivet.
