I had a feeling that suddenly just popped out out of nowhere no warning and isn't that always how it happens... So I'm trying to find a dentist too see but in the meantime I want to make sure that the issue doesn't get any worse than it already is so I was like I'll just get some of that putty stuff put it in there and although I know it's probably not going to stay in there you know it'll make me feel better to use it in any case I came across this thermoplastic beads and I started reading about it and I thought how fantastic cuz you get the beads really really hot they turn from white to clear and then you basically scoop them out you roll it you roll it in a cylindrical form you put some product in your area where the filling came out of and then you just let it sit for a bit and it only takes a few moments... I know it doesn't make sense what I just said but you could roll it into a little ball you could do it and they say in a cylindrical way so like a like rolling it out like when you were a kid you were playing with clay and you'd roll it out like a snake so that's kind of what I'm talking about in any case so you take this and you put it into your tooth where you're missing your feeling and you just let it adhere but it's not like it glues it in it's just thermoplastic. The best part is if let's say for instance you're out and about and it pops out you could take that same feeling material put it into some really hot water and it'll melt again and you can reuse it how fantastic right... This product is half the cost of the pasty smenty fake stuff that doesn't even stay in it never does and it really adheres and is very Effective. So I'm going to be open it with you so I had a feeling and to be honest with you this was over 30 years ago in my number 9 tooth which is an anterior tooth it's like if you smile those are the one of the two teeth that you're someone's going to see so it's just like out there but the feeling was behind the tooth and I notice it because I know what I'm looking for but most everybody else doesn't however not having a feeling in this tooth could end up making this tooth break and I cannot have that until I can get into the dentist and I'm making calls actually right now I've left a couple of messages with dentist and I'm waiting for to hear back it's unfortunate but I want someone to hopefully squeeze me in like yesterday. So when I found this stuff I put it in and it's it's it it's holding the only thing I have to remember is I cannot floss it cuz it will pop out I already made that mistake and I was able to take the same material the same because it's a precise amount that fits in there perfectly and I was able to take that same amount put it in the hot water rebuilt it reapply it so I thought wow this is great. These thermoplastic beads for tooth repair just phenomenal I know each filling is going to be different. But for my needs it's filling in that empty spot my tongue was wanting to go in there every 2 seconds and the more my tongue would push on it I could just see it breaking before I can get into the dentist now I feel so much better for so much more relieved it feels like the filling is still in it the only thing like I said I have to be careful about is it's on one of the sides it's not like in the center or anything it's on one of the sides so I have to be careful that I don't floss in that tooth but I will be able to brush my teeth and I have brushed my teeth and that was perfectly fine I'm very happy with my results with this I just had to to let everybody know I want to shout it from the mountain tops to be honest with you it's really good product and very happy with the outcome. The appearance you can't tell the difference I can't only I know what I'm looking for it's so hard for me even to see everybody's going to have a different outcome but if you follow the instructions that they say explicitly you should have the same results as I have and I am so happy and so excited that it has given me more time to not be so worried and stressed out panicking to find a dentist when I can take a little bit of time to find a good dentist, I've just moved to this area so I am probably a but off from getting in with a new Doctor. In any case I just want y'all to know that this is something that really does work and I'm very happy thank you so much for taking a moment to read my review and I hope this has been helpful for you it's amazing something that actually works for a temporary filling!!! Tried so many times to make this work and it doesn’t work for back teeth. Not even sure how it would work for front teeth, to be honest. They are plastic beads, you heat them up and mold them. Then take it out and let it harden and then once it turns white, you insert it back. I’ve used temporary dental cement so I figured this was a similar concept for a cheaper price, but this did not work at all! I had a temporary crown on a back molar that broke, the middle part of my actual tooth is gone so I’m constantly getting food stuck in it and wanted a temporary fix until I could get to a dentist. I got a dental cement and that worked well, but it would break apart over time. So, while looking for other options, this seemed to have good reviews. I have no idea how. The problem is you can’t keep it in the tooth as it dries (says not to), but when you take it out, it seems to slightly change shape, just enough that it will never exactly fit like a cement would. Basically, it will sit in the missing spot, but it’s literally just sitting there. It’s not “anchored” as they say it will be. I tried using a dental pick to carefully remove it as to not damage the shape. I tried reheating and remolding about 20 times and had the same problem every time. You can’t eat with it because it will just fall out and the worst part is so matter how small I made it, it felt uncomfortable and was easily pushed out by my tongue. Also if you eat anything hot, it melts. Then I said forget it, it’s not working, I’ll just return and use the money to put towards cement again because at least that holds. I just received the package, I’m an entire month before the return window closes, but the company will not allow you to return it and refuses to refund any money for their product being defective. I would contact Amazon, but it’s not even worth my time. I’ll use it as hot glue (it’s basically the same exact thing). Terrible quality, uncomfortable, not sticky enough, not durable, not even a short term solution, and horrible customer service… Save your money, find a different product. This is not it!!

While I wouldn't say this is a great long-term option, for urgent situations they really do a great job! I had a filling give and my front tooth cracked at the bottom, leaving a significant chip. Dentist couldn't get me in for a week!!! Of course I didn't want to even have my family see, let alone go out in public. So I bought these. It took me a few tries to get the color mix and shape right, but by golly, once I got it, you could hardly tell looking right at it! Plus you can just warm them up and keep trying, which is super helpful. And you can mold it along your tooth or other teeth, so this sucker stays put! I was able to drink and even eat (carefully) with it. Held me over until I could get to the dentist. Also saved me from slicing my tongue open on the sharp edges of the tooth. Excellent value for the money. I would definitely buy them again if needed.

Sooooo, I bought this as a temporary gap filler since I'm missing a tooth. Let's just say, it's a bit of a rollercoaster. 😂 On the plus side, it's SUPER easy to heat up .. just pop it in some hot water, and it’s good to go! 🔥 But here's where things get tricky: molding it is a PAIN. It's hard to get the perfect shape, and if you're not careful, it can get stuck in your teeth (trust me, not fun). 😬 Also, a little pro tip: the beads expand a bit after you mold them, so if you want it to fit well, you gotta size down a little before you start shaping. I didn't do that, so my tooth filling is... let’s just say, not Instagram worthy 😅 (see pic for proof of my "artistic fail" 😂). But hey, it’ll hold me over until I get my partial, so I'll give it credit for that. Another thing: if you mess up and need to reheat it to fix the shape, it gets kinda annoying to keep heating it up every few minutes. So... be prepared for a bit of a time consuming process. ⏳ All in all, it's a decent quick fix, but not the easiest or prettiest solution. If you're in a pinch like me, it'll work – but don’t expect perfection! 😆

This stuff works really well. Almost too well that I had to actually take a star off because in my particular case, it seems almost impossible to remove after it hardened. I put burning hot tea and swished it around my mouth, thinking that it would soften up and be generally easy to remove, but it wasn't. It's literally stuck in the groove where I cracked my tooth. Maybe over time or with constant swishing of more and more hot water, it'll eventually come off, but it's in there pretty firmly. I think it looks good, but I'd like the option to remove it. However, I'm sure the dentist will be able to do that when it's time to get a crown. I cracked a big section on the right side of my canine tooth, and this stuff was pretty simple to work with and press in there. I just needed a tiny bit of it. It feels comfortable. I've already brushed three times, and it hasn't budged or fallen out. In my case, if you inspect it close enough, you'll probably ask me, "What's with your tooth?" but I honestly don't think anyone will notice at all unless they shine a flashlight in my mouth and are actually inspecting my teeth, which is unlikely to happen outside of a dentist. Lol. Unless, of course, I.C.E. puts a black bag over my head and throws me in a van and takes me to a concentration camp, which will eventually lead to an inspection of my body cavities and looking inside my mouth and asking me, "What's with your tooth, boy? What the hell is that? A WMD? Is it drugs? Is it fent, boy? Is it some weird foreign object that we need to get out of America pronto, Tonto?" And I'll say, "Sir, it's thermoplastic beads, sir. I bought it off of Amazon," And they'll be like, "Thermoplastic? That sounds dangerous." This conversation will go back and forth until well after midnight, which will inevitably lead to a bomb squad having to come in and extract my tooth while I'm being held down, screaming about how my rights are being taken away and that America is now a fascist hellhole!!! Aaaannnnnywho, great product. Four stars, leaning to five.

These thermoplastic beads were surprisingly easy to use. Once heated according to the instructions, they became soft and moldable, making it simple to shape them for a temporary repair. I managed to break off a sizable chunk of a pre-molar and promptly sliced my tongue when I used it to locate where that "tiny rock" in my mouth came from whilst flossing one Friday night. No dentist I'm aware of here on Earth works weekends so I was up to my own devices to solve the problem until I could get in and have a dentist fix it. There are many options, so I tried this as it's a relatively inexpensive solution. I also bought a more expensive option that required a knowledge of chemistry and sculpting skills... I was desperate. This package contains small plastic(?) beads you heat in hot water, then one squishes them together and stuffs the mass in the area needed. The first time I used too many beads and ended up with a large gob I ended up breaking in half and reheating to try again. You only need about 5 or 6 beads for half of a missing pre-molar (unless you have a really big mouth and teeth) I heat my water in the microwave and then use a spoon to set the beads in it. As soon as the beads turn clear you can squash them together and fix the problem. I recommend getting it in place and then biting down while still malleable so it meshes with teeth that will come into contact with it when you bite down/eat. I recommend a mirror as well. This works much like the old wax the orthodontist used to hand out, but better. It hardens and doesn't stick to food (unless it's hot). When hardened it turns white so it blends in well. I change out the plastic fix every morning and evening for sanitary reasons. As my broken tooth is in a tight spot I have to soften the plastic with a cup of hot tea and get creative pulling it out. (I will admit to using small needle nose craft pliers - don't judge. Also, don't yank. Get it heated well enough that it will slide out without resistance.) You could reuse the plastic by remelting it, but considering the price and the fact I want to keep the area clean, I throw it out and melt fresh beads each time. I should mention that eating hot foods will mush it around and create weird plastic flaps on the fix, which if you're like me, will drive you no short level of insane. I recommend chewing hot foods on the opposite side of your mouth. This has worked so well that I haven't tried the more expensive solution, and likely won't. I do recommend getting to a dentist ASAP as this isn't a permanent fix, but it works beautifully until you can and protects your tongue from getting shredded.

Buyer beware! There's reviews of how the product doesn't stick to teeth, but When I used it it stuck too well. I had to have a 3 hour appointment with a dentist to have it drill off. I started trying to use just a little bit to cover up a chipped tooth in back .That didn't stick,so I used some more.of the product. I have made used a little bit too much, but the directions weren't very clear.I ended up with a huge mouth guard plastic piece on my lower, jaw. When it hardened, there was no way moving it. I tried all the so-called remedies, hot water floss, tea, bags, whatever I could find To try and loosen it up.Nothing worked after 4 days.Finally , had a go to the dentist , which is a huge thing for me , because I have dental anxiety. Three hours and three hundred dollars later , the dentist able to remove it. The dentist said they are seen more and more people using this product wrong This was a horrible experience for me.
