Love these GUSTARIA 1.2” American Mahjong tiles! Traditional, ivory-colored tiles, well marked, and easy to read. They are melamine, and have a good sturdy feel and weight. They are perfect for someone who appreciates the traditional look.

Love the ivory traditional tile. Characters are clear, the size is standard size and will look great on my wooden racks. These can be used on both wooden and acrylic racks and won’t slide off. They will last and not scratch easily. They are not so heavy to carry but heavy enough that they stay put. The numbers are clear and easy to read and use. I included a picture of the ivory and white for comparison.

Super cute, but VERY strong chemical like smell.

Love these tiles. They did smell at first, like everyone says, but an hour on the front porch and they were fine. They are clear, easy to read, colors are vibrant. Really a great set for under $40.

Although the price is one of the lower prices on Amazon for mahjong tiles, the quality is lacking. The tiles are a decent size if comparing to luxury sets a little smaller, but a little bigger than the hobby lobby set. They are a little lighter than the deluxe sets like YM. The main issue I had with these is how they actually look - I’m not sure if the material is poor, but they look scratched and dingy - almost like someone had played with them. I tried to was the dinginess off of them - thinking their was a product smudge left on them, but it won’t wash off. I don’t recommend these tiles based on what they are made of. They are clearly very vulnerable to scratches and smudging if they came that way new out of the package.

I love the colors. I like how they are engraved and not printed. We have used them quite a bit and they have held up well. They do not come with dice, instructions, etc. Just the tiles - but that is all I needed. Very happy with my purchase!

These tiles are the best quality I've seen in the non-designer category. They feel nice in your hands and are just the right thickness for a nice "clacking" sound, while fitting very easily on all racks. The designs are deeply engraved with no bleeding or smearing of colors. I chose the light green set and they match a wide variety of mats and table cloths for beautiful tablescapes. Bonus: The 1-bam tile looks like a bird, NOT a flower. ;) These tiles are best in show for their class!
