1950s Vintage Retro Dolores Top Rockabilly Pinup

This top is indeed great quality. It even has a nice hidden zipper on the side.Unfortunately, I have to return it :( It is very fitted and not stretchy. Since I am not at my fittest right now, the shirt is uncomfortable. My loss!

The reason I didnt give all 5 stars is because the fit and the color discrepancy. I tried it on before I washed it and it was fitting weird. I almost returned it but my husband said it was fine. I washed it and dried and it and it fit much better. The color (blue) is darker than what is shown. This may just be me but the picture makes it look almost silky. It isnt which is fine. Its thick and kind of stiff. It's very nice though. These aren't bad things, just not as expected. It appears to be made well. It washes well too. Since it's new there was a high chance for the color to bleed so I washed it with stuff i wasn't worried about. It was just fine. I was impressed with that. Overall very cute and I got a lot of compliments.

The material is not quite what I expected. It's a good quality material though, not flimsy. I think I expected it to be kinda silky? I'm glad I read the measurement chart first, I almost ordered a size 10. But I am 6'3'' and 150lbs with a DD chest, my torso is alil short for my height and the size 8 fits like a glove!

I'm not sure if this is a "me" thing but this shirt did not work. The tummy portion was too loose, and yet stiff at the same time. I also cannot pull off the on off the shoulder look, and although this top markets itself as convertible, it really does not work well with sleeves on shoulders-- it just looks awkward. But if you can pull off the off the shoulder look, there may be hope for you.

I ordered this top as part of a Pin Up outfit for a car show.I used the size chart and for my measurements it said to order a size 14, wish I would have went at least 1 size smaller.I spent a little while with it at my sewing machine tayloring it to fit, it’s a nice top just runs big!(Took about 2 inches in across the back, and at least an inch from the front)I’m 5’ tall, I weigh 150, with a 40” chest and a 34” waist.Hope this helps!

I love this shirt but had to return the first size i ordered. Based on the size chart I should have been a size 12 ( i wear a 34H bra) and it fit very loose and too long. I exchanged for a size 10 which fit perfect! The color is very pretty and it's a better quality than I expected

I purchased this for a 50's dance and it was perfect. However, the top was on the small size.

This blouse is really cute and fits very well. There is a hidden side zip if you need it. There is a little bit of stretch to the fabric which is wonderful!I removed a couple of stars because of the stiffness of the fabric. It reminds me of when my mother used to put way too much starch on my dads shirts. It's so stiff it actually makes crinkling noises when I move and the shirt is rather noisy. I'm hoping a few turns through the washer will loosen it up a little.
