Great taste, according to my 5th grade grandson.

Since learning that freeze-dried candies had become a thing again a year or so ago, our household has sampled SO MANY of the available offerings including freeze-dried Skittles (like these), Starbursts, gummies, caramel apple lollipops, jolly ranchers, airheads, bit-o-honey, peach rings, and so many more. But it always seems to come back to Skittles. They just lend themselves to this freeze-dried candy trend so well that everything else just seems like a hit-or-miss option by comparison, whereas freeze-dried Skittles are great every time. Maybe it's because they're one of the few options where it's equally rewarding to crunch them or just pop one in your mouth and let the little sugar explosion quickly dissolve leaving the almost immaterial candy shell of the Skittle behind. They're just so good. And with this set of the Berry flavored Skittles, the originals are arguably improved upon because I personally am a much bigger fan of the Berry flavor variety. ***Overall Value*** If you're new to freeze-dried candies, it's important to know there's a bit of mark-up do to these being a "novelty" candy, so the slightly elevated price here is right on target.

These are rock hard and not light and crunchy, like they should be. I do NOT recommend buying these. Save your money

When you freeze dry skittles, they pop like popcorn out of the outer candy shell. The once chewy interior becomes airy and crunchy. As you eat them, the tastes of the fruity flavors explode in your mouth. So good! The only problem is to stop eating them. When they are chewy, the candies then to last but when crunchy, they quickly melt in your mouth and are gone before you know it. So you gotta keep popping them in your mouth and before you know it, the bag is empty.
