You need the right shade, the right coverage, the right finish. I generously moisturize and give it 5 minutes then conceal and then foundation. I apply this with a damp sponge, dabbing it in...the color is perfect, I don't have to mix with another, the coverage, even though it says full, and it does cover very well, but you'd expect a heavy foundation for that..not this, it's lightweight almost gives a no-makeup look if you get the right shade (what I like about their shades is not too pink for the cool shades, not orange for the deeper shades but seems true skin (I do makeovers for weddings and such) the finish is natural, more on the matte side which helps it not be transferred..I don't like it when makeup slides around...I always use a setting spray that leaves a dewy look anyway, which on a dewy finish is overkill, so I'm glad it's more of a matte finish. Love this foundation, it feels like the perfect storm, when the three, color,coverage,finish come together!
