It's super soft and lovely to wear, but it is a thin piece of material. Now it's a bit colder, I have started to wear it under my cycle helmet, but find it's not quite a match for the cold wind. It's still better than not having anything. I imagine it would be better under a motorbike helmet to keep off the chill.
