I used this Overtone Color Depositing Semi-Permanent Dye Conditioner on my friend's hair. It turned out great leaving a bold, vibrant, color. She has blonde hair. Very easy to apply. It took me about 20 minutes to apply it to her dry hair. The color conditioner is thick so it doesn't drip. We left it in for 15 minutes before we rinsed it out. It left her hair silky smooth. It didn't stain her skin or the bath tub, but I cleaned the tub out immediately after. It's great that it's cruelty free and gentle ingredients. I recommend this coloring conditioner.

I tried repeated treatments on my beard and left it in for a long time and there was barely any tint at all. I probably used half the container.

This is just OK. I could barely tell any color change.

My hair is naturally very dark brown, almost black (level 2). I attempted to bleach it on my own balayage style and ended up with strands lightened to levels varying from level 8 to level 10, with some of my natural level 2 remaining. After applying Overtone in pastel blue, it left my level 10 strands a very soft dusty blue and my level 9s the lightest palest blue possible. It didn't affect the level 8, or my level 2 strands, obviously. But I loved the look! It was a gradient of blues blended into my brown and black strands. I would've been one happy customer if it had lasted 2, maybe even 1 week. But the color was about 90% gone after a single wash. That was disappointing.
