Hella H71070602 Optilux XY Series HB4 9006 Xenon Yellow Halogen Bulbs, 12V, 55W, 2 Pack

Bought these in October 2015 and one of the bulbs burn out in December 2018...3+yrs is far better than I had expected. Just purchased another pair today, so we will see if the last as long. Light output is good and the yellow is a deep, saturated color. I use them any time it is raining, snowing, foggy, or cloudy. Remember, fog lights are not to illuminate the road for yourself, they are to provide visibility of your vehicle to other drivers. They provide a great contrasting color to halogen or HID headlights to keep you safe. Looking forward to my second set.

So far they have performed above price point. Good yellow and bright light. I have them in a GS350 for fog lights. Good fitment no issues.

I installed these on my 1997 Ford Expedition as fog lights. Amazon said that they would not fit this vehicle, but when I replaced my old stock fog lights, they are the exact same bulb (except yellow). These are definitely as bright (if not brighter) than my old fog lights. The yellow looks makes for some contrast with the white headlights and makes for less glare when the roads are wet. I also think people notice the yellow light more. I haven't had cops give me any trouble, so I'm pretty sure it is legal as long as you have white headlights to go with the yellow fogs. Also, make sure you don't touch the bulb glass, as it will shorten the lifetime of the bulb. If I have one go out I will update the review.

Good solid bright yellow light. However, the manufacturing of one of the tabs on each light is backwards. I had to snip off the smallest of the three tabs on each light for them to slip in to the light housing. Once in, the light is able to rotate and lock in to place. Would not align properly with the third tab tho. Looks like the bulb housing itself was just placed into the mold cast backwards or something. Nonetheless, solid bright yellow fog lights. Be aware modification might be needed to fit properly. 2008 Subaru Outback XT is the vehicle.

It's currently mid-February 2026. I purchased these in early December 2023, after installing clear fog lights into my 2005 CR-V. The light kit came with clear 9006 halogens, but I wanted the light output to be yellow, because I run through 50-70 miles of the tule fog in the Central CA Valley. Very happy with the combination of these, the the JDM HID headlight assemblies that I installed.

I was looking for yellow lights for my fog lights so I gave these a shot and they are SO YELLOW. I was expecting just a mild yellow hue but they almost look like HIDs. Definitely worth it.

I am on my second set of bulbs. I am using them in the fog lights of a 2004 Matrix. Life expectancy of these bulbs is not great, hence the reason I am on my second set in two years. From the first set, one of the bulbs blew so I purchased a second set (figured I would have a spare bulb). Problem is that even ordering the same exact part number, the color of the bulbs were different. First set was a deeper yellow than the second set, so I had to replace both bulbs. Now 6 months later, a bulb blew out from the second set so I am stuck with two bulbs, with the same part number but different colors of yellow! I Love the look the yellow bulbs add to the car, but hesitant to buy another set.

I purchased a set of these Optilux bulbs in H11 fitment for my previous car, a Mazda3, and they lasted until I sold the car last month, almost three years later. They were used mostly during inclement weather. They're bright bulbs with a yellow tint that cannot be missed, even when they are off. I just installed a set in my new HB4/9006 set in my WRX, and these are just as bright and yellow as the old H11s were. Looking forward to many years of yellow swag. Remember, as with all auto bulbs, DO NOT touch the glass, or you will dramatically shorten the life of the bulb. It's possible to install the bulbs while touching only the base, and that is in fact what professionals do!

One of the bulbs failed after just 4 months of occasional use. Just long enough that I cannot return them. A complete waste of money.

Very happy with these, nice and bright. A bit more yellow than red. They are installed on my 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 . Have been in for a month no problems at all.
