Great value! Fun to chew. Slight citrus pine flavor
Just got this. Chewing my first piece now. Only one is needed imo. This stuff is really nice to chew and has a slight citrusy pine flavor. I’m enjoying this! The texture is very firm but it didn’t ‘shatter’ before becoming chewable in my mouth like some have said. This is a fun product to chew and taste is clean. There’s a lot in this little bag. Especially if it’s true you can use a piece over several days.

Exactly What I Was Looking For
Exactly what I was looking for. Not like gum you chew for enjoyment even though I do enjoy it. Flavored gums lose their flavor. This doesn’t because it’s not flavored. The flavor isn’t good or bad, it’s neutral. It strengthens your jaw. I use it once or twice a day. I just put it on substitutions. Glad I found it.

great for grinders
i am ecstatic that i found mastic gum!!!! after a visit to the dentist to discuss some of my issues like grinding and a sort of chewing obsession that i have - i have been chewing on charcoal and bentonite clay in my water for quite some time now and it has deformed my bite - she actually suggested gum!! well in my unsuccessful hunt for the perfect organic, tasty gum that didn't contain poison ingredients like gmo's and natural flavors, i stumbled upon mastic gum! i read tons and tons of reviews because i was a little intimidated by the potential hardness of this gum and the fact that many said it can stick to your teeth or dental work and never come off which definitely would've left me in a panic, i have found that this checks all of my boxes for the perfect stress reliever/all day chew toy in my mouth!!!!! i am chewing way less charcoal, my teeth and jaw feel stronger, my teeth feel less shifty, and it keeps me BUSY, CHOMPING AWAY!!!! it never stuck to my teeth, it will last forever as i have been chewing on the same little wad of gum over and over for a few days now which only consisted of like 5 little droplets, i am just PLEASED AS PUNCH with my discovery and that the risk was well worth the reward for me!!!! finally a healthy solution to my obsessive compulsive grinding/chewing!!!!! i am excited to see the gut benefits as well! this stuff ROCKS!!!!!

Healthier than gum, but not long lasting
I don't know how these are supposed to taste, but they're not bad. They're not great either. They're just kind of there and something to chew on. You have to take a lot of the little lumps of sap at once. Healthier than regular gum. After about an hour of chewing the sap gets realllly hard and becomes unchewable.

Interesting
I actually hate chewing gum. It normally lasts less than 2 minutes before I want to spit it out. But this stuff is kind of cool. I keep it in the fridge. I take a pinch (maybe 1/4 teaspoon) of these little droplets and crush them between my teeth. Shatter completely and the it comes together in a small wad like a dough comes together as you knead it. The gum is stiff enough to help relieve anxiety. The flavor is herbal-like and almost citrusy. It does not fade. I can chew this for 20-30 minutes before getting bored. I’m sure it’s not for everyone, but I’m glad I found it. I would not hesitate to repurchase.

Awful
This is not edible, it’s terrible and I’m unable to return it.

Meh - not for most people
I don't know enough about mastic to say whether or not this is a good product. I am inclined to say it is, as it's clean and pretty pure. That said, it's a pretty horrible gum. If you're not expecting or accustomed to this type of product for chewing gum, be advised. It doesn't taste great. It's not horrible, but it's not particularly great either. It's extremely firm, will stick to your teeth and your jaw will get tired of chewing it quickly. It dries out fast too, so it'll crumble into pieces shortly after chewing. I guess you could reuse it - never felt the urge. It's also very expensive and you need close to 10 little pieces to make a nice chewing piece. There are other mostly natural options available with a much better texture and taste. I'd skip this unless you're trying to do some kind of strange looksmaxing jaw work, or just grew up on this stuff, or are wanting the most natural option possible. But, if you're semi-normal - this ain't it.

Natural alternative to gum
I often deal with acid reflux, and chewing gum has been a helpful, non-invasive way to manage my symptoms. However, I’ve always been concerned about the artificial ingredients and plastic in regular gum. That’s why I decided to try this mastiha gum, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised! It’s firmer and slightly more abrasive than regular gum, so it requires a bit of care when chewing, but the benefits make it worth it. I’ve read that mastiha may have medicinal properties, which is an added bonus. While it’s more expensive than conventional gum, I’ve noticed that only a small amount of the resin is needed to create a satisfying gum-like texture, so the supply should last a while. Perfect in taste.
