UPDATE cat got ear clawe in a fight, so I watered it down 20% hibi and kept in a sterile bottle and bathed the cat's wound. I photographed the cat's wound and 10 days later took cat for vet check and boosters. Vet saw photo and how the ear had healed and said 'well done you.' If the cat had been unwell and ear got red and hot then I would have taken the cat anyway. Also cat scratched me at vet, so used their Hibi scrub to steralise wound and it worked. STar dropped because of the price. ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW I brought this during lockdown, as a way of cleaning hands at home. Nursing and veterinary friends recommended this, as a good way to wash hands. Some people maybe allergic to it, so you need to patch test at appropriate dilution. I fill a pump bottle in kitchen for handwashing pre food prep with 20% Hibiscrub and 80% water. Read the instruction leaflet inside for contra-indications and dilutions. When I had a trapped hair in arm pit last year, I used this to wash and clean insted of soap. Lasts for 6 hours on skin (anti bacterial etc). Worked well. Sometimes I take blood sugar readings during keto fasting (I'm not diabetic or pre-diabetic), so I use the product to was fingers well before testing. Relative used it to clean irritated wound on their dog under vet supervision. Pink in colour. Will lather well for hand washing. Only gripe is the cost. It has risen in price alot, so I ensure I buy when its on offer.

Absolutely fabulous product - you need this somewhere in your home! I bought this after a bizarre incident last summer where I was attacked by flies in the garden who were laying eggs on my clothing (I freaked out!!! I've seen the videos and I had no clue what these thing were) so I ran into my house rapidly undressing and grabbed the only thing I could find that was a biological killer and sanitiser that I knew wouldn't destroy my skin - Corsodyl and I covered all my previously exposed areas. I know this sounds totally bonkers - I realise it does. I have an autoimmune condition and have to be careful if I acquire an infection or get bitten, get a cut etc. that's why I have to go a bit overboard. Mouthwash was not the ideal solution, although I was minty fresh afterwards and it was lovely and cooling! So I logged on and looked for a better solution, checked the active ingredients and bingo this beauty came up. Ordered it, and it's wonderful. The only thing I don't like is the colour BUT I found that it's great for a good wash after gardening, cooking, basically cleaning up. I have break outs due to medication and it calms it down, it's simply phenomenal. The scent is very neutral and if you are sensitive to smells I'm pretty certain that this won't set off anything for you. Be aware that this product doesn't come with a pump - I decanted mine into a spare l'Occitane bottle. I believe that this can also be used on pets, but you will need to check with a specialist.
