I would give it a 4.5 star- but DON’T let that deter you! It’s not the pin- it’s me! 😬 There is nothing wrong with the pin, in my opinion- just user (trial &) error! Lol Depending on your individual hair type, and patience- that might be the only deal breaker. 🥹🫣 I have a lot of longer, fine hair- it is straight and soft and not too thick and not thin. Getting the twisting move of the hair and angle of the pin was the hardest part. Once you get that mastered this thing may easily end up being one of your FAV hair go-tos. It can LOOK effortless, but SUPER cute- in a, “I tried, but not too hard.. AND SLAYED.” I honestly like it better than regular claw clips because- unlike this ergonomic design- claw clips stick out of your hair and can get in the way of leaning back on a headrest or yoga mat, etc. Which feels unsafe and also personally drives me mad! I think the price is so fair and it’s such a cute way to elevate a causal or more formal outfit. You can style it more flawlessly with some product and practice, or just twist up your hair and shove that gal on in there! Depending on how you style it, you can have the pin more hidden or exposed, totally your choice. I feel like with most normal day to day activities it would have NO real issues staying put. I have yet to be able to give it a test run in a more active setting- such as any sort of cardio, so I can’t speak on that part just yet. I would say this is so great for packing in a purse or bag for travel because of its slim and sleek design. (I ordered the plain, straight pin.) It would also be fun to test out with different styles of loose, braided buns too. Definitely would recommend this to most people I know with medium to thick- longer hair. Not to say it couldn’t work for thinner hair- the pin may just be a bit heavy! Otherwise- put it in your cart because it is worth every penny! ✨

I adore hair forks because they are so gentle on my very long hair. But I never really wanted a French Pin until now. When I saw how lovely these are, I decided to give them a try. I'm so glad I did! The quality is top notch. Well-made, strong, and sleek. They glide into my hair like butter, and then hold it perfectly. Yesterday my daughter took me out for a day of shopping. I put my hair up into a loose bun and secured it with the french pin. It stayed in place perfectly all day long. No issues! Definitely worth those 5 stars!

I picked this up because I was intrigued. I have bottom of my booty length hair. The advert I saw said it was super easy to use and it holds hair gracefully. Or something like that. It is also metal. I live on the seashore and everything rusts, so I wasn’t sure if this would work. My hair is thick and curly, too, so a bun looks like a triple decker burger on top of my head. I need to use thick bands to keep it contained I am amazed how easy this is to use and how incredibly well it holds my hair. I just make my regular bun and then I just slip it in from the top. It is very smooth, no snags, and gently tapered and curved. I am able to work from sun up to sun down and I never had to adjust it or redo my hair. I think I will experiment with hair styles to see what else I can do with it but I’m smitten with this. It works and it works well! I was a bit concerned about how much it cost but I find it worth the price. I’m still a tad concerned about it rusting but I oil my hair so I’m hoping that keeps the metal smooth. I considered other brands and styles but the others didn’t seem as solid or would work well for my hair. I almost got the 2 pack but I wasn’t sure enough to commit. I may get that next so I have a pin with me in the car for after snorkel swims so I don’t use a hair tie which sometimes causes breakage when my hair is sandy and wet. I’m glad I tried this. It’s mostly comfortable but like clips or ties, those can be applied too tight too. I was curious as to its holding power with looser or super tight buns. It works beautifully with all. It’s long enough that the pressure against your head is distributed well. Will get again and will pass on to friends.

Only the standard (one on the left in the pic) is life changing for me. The size, thickness, quality of the standard gold one is perfect. I have long hair (down to my butt) and this is such a fun way to style my hair outside of using hairbands. I LOVE this. The prongs have a nice curve on them so they sit comfortably on your head. Very durable. I loved it so much I got the gold bar one (on the right in the pic) and wished I didn't! Its thinner. Will not hold all of my hair, and the gold bar is hollow on one side so I cant see how this wont show unless you use other pins to keep your hair up and leave this as a decorative piece only. Wish it was the same as the standard one.

I can't believe how much I love this. I've tried hair pins and combs and clips before and they usually hold my hair for about five minutes if I'm lucky. I thought this was overhyped because it's Kitsch, but I gave it a try. The pin itself is much sturdier than my others and it's much more comfortable, too. Surprisingly, though, it actually holds my hairstyle! I watched a few IG tutorials on different styles to do with it and there's a bit of a learning curve, but it's been very easy for me to get it to look good and stay put.

This pin is pretty big and definitely made for thick, long hair. My hair is fairly thin and fine, so this was too heavy. It’s definitely made out of high quality metal, but it is a bit heavy because of that. It’s also fairly long, so if you have shorter hair it also wouldn’t be great for that. It fell pretty easily out of my hair, but that’s also because I have thin hair. If you have long/thick hair, this would probably hold your hair a lot better. It’s not the most versatile pin, it’s pretty much good for a french twist and maybe a bun but that’s about it. But if that’s what you’re looking for and you have the right hair, this would be a good option for you. The pin is pretty and shiny and matches the picture so you’re getting what you think you’re getting.

This pin is amazing! I used to see hair pins like this abs doubt they were as easy to use I had heard, but it's really fairly easy. I have LONG CURLY hair, literally 3 feet long and spiral curls, so trying to do anything but braid it or leave it down used to be a fight. And trying to get anything updo or elegant was impossible on my own. This pin worked extremely well to get the perfect messy but elegant bun, and took less than a minute and it was only my second try. The pin is made from durable metal that won't bend or break easily. It held my hair for hours with no headache, fuss or having to redo it. I believe it would be compatible for anyone with long or curly hair. I usually need an extra large claw clip to hold all of my hair, but this handled it with no problem.

I love this hair pin! I have had the gold version of it for years, but primarily wear silver accessories, so I was very excited they came out with a silver version of this product. The metal feels very sturdy and substantial. I use it primarily for French twists. I have relatively long and thick hair and don't have issues with this pin when I use the proper technique for it. Overall great product for the price!

I’ve always wanted to try hair pins and different hair styles and just though oh it’s for people with gorgeous thick wavy hair only. Well not necessarily! It took me a couple of goes and some handy videos and now I can create a chic style with my pin really quickly and easily. I have thin fragile shoulder length hair that does not hold styles well, even with hair products. I would say if you have thin hair like me use a thickening spray and or hair spray first to create some texture. Thanks to another review recommending this I thought I’d try it and it does work. Overall super happy with the pin, easy to use and holds well.
