After continuing to clean up after birds nesting on our porch, this product has been a time saver! Very easy to assemble, with the durability and sharpness keeping the birds away. The size is easy to adjust by using more than one strip if needed. Great product at a great price.

We have a pool with a spa, pigeons had the tendency to hang out by the spa for water , leave drops of poop, we bought the fake owls , it helped for a minute , we have spikes on our roof so we decided to try putting spikes by the spa, we nailed them to a board and place them On each side of the spa! Pigeons haven’t been around for a while! These really do the job!! Perfect size and easy to put together , sharp enough to keep them away ! Totally worth the price !

WEAR EYE PROTECTION, as noted elsewhere. This is not a joke, you could end up with serious eye damage if not careful. These are effective, easy to install, etc.; however, sometimes if you are not holding them tightly enough, they will spring out of the holes into your face or chest or wherever.... One of them bounced off my glasses. Truth is they are a pain to put together, but got to where I could assemble one in 2.5 minutes, so not a great effort or waste of time. Still, being in a hurry, a couple of them were not properly seated before I released them, and Poing! off they went. Note too: To forestall rusting (they claim to be stainless, but the spikes don't look it), I spray painted them after assembly to match the house color. BL: They are almost invisible in the roof rafters and the mourning doves have moved on.... Last, they cut easy enough but you'll need heavy scissors or tinsnips (and that's only for the strip, the wires need wire cutters).

These spikes are a lifesaver. I was so tired of cleaning up the bird poop on my deck. These installed in seconds with a little Liquid Nail and look great. Sturdy material but allows versatile to adjust the length to fit into the needed space. Stability is great upon installation, quality material, easy to pre-construct and install. Great value for the money.

I bought these to deter the squirrels and / or raccoons that were raiding my bird feeders. They may have slowed them down but didn’t stop. The raccoons (I think) bent them easily and worked around them. I think they worked for the squirrels, and likely would have stopped birds if that was the goal.

I tried a number of products that simple did not keep the birds away. Some of them worked temporarily and deterred them but eventually they came back. I set these things up and the birds tried to set up shop in my gazebo shortly after installation but you could tell it was difficult and cumbersome. Eventually overtime they began to gave up. Months later and I’ve hardly heard or seen any birds in the corners of my gazebos and I’ve certainly not seen any nests ever since. I can confidently say that this product would be putting your best foot forward if you’re trying to keep birds out of your gazebos.

These spikes are GREAT!! It DOES take a little time to snap the spikes into place, but it's very easy and no tools needed. You WILL however need an little electric screwdriver with an extension to screw these spike strips into place, because once you get the spikes snapped-on, you no longer have room to put the screw in & bolt it down - not without scratching your hand up. These won't hurt an animal - unless it SLAMS INTO THEM FULL SPEED LOL... But that would be the same result if a bird smacks into your sliding glass door. Other than that it's just REALLY uncomfortable to get a poke from those spikes. But my purpose in using them was that squirrels or raccoons or whatever - were gnawing on the old plastic drain grate in my backyard (You can see their teeth marks on the green grate in the photo). So I designed & 3D printed a NEW GRATE, then put the spikes on it and installed it on my drain in the back yard; now they can't get to this one. I also designed & built a LOCKBOX for my packages in the front yard. The box itself was from Home Depot and it's plastic. But it still had to be put together and I built a palette & weatherproofed it. Then I mounted the palette to some 24in. long ground spikes, then bolted the lockbox to the palette so neither wind nor villains can carry it away lol. It came out beautiful! But sure enough - I started seeing teeth marks in the plastic as the animals gnawed on it all night. 😡 I put another set of spikes on the top of it = no more teeth marks!! lol.. I DID hear something out there thudding around one night and screaming off into the night, so I think SOMETHING tried to jump on top to gnaw some more - but this time the trunk fought back and WON! lol.. So yeah, I LOVE these spikes... I think I'm going to super-glue them to the TV remote & refrigerator handle next! 😁👍
