Since I don’t wear the strap, the shot blew these goggles off my face. The game stopped immediately because it was such a direct hit and looked horrific. I thought I would have a black eye for sure but so far just the teeniest bit of swelling, no pain or blemish. I wear these goggles as just frames, without the lenses. If I hadn’t had them on, my face would have been a mess and I would have been at emergency having my contact lens removed from my eyeball. Obviously, I cannot recommend them enough. For me they offer the same protection as KitchenBlockers but without the excessive amount of frame in your view.

While playing pickleball today I got DRILLED in the face. Straight to my right eye, absolutely no ricochet or buffer from anything else. Since I don’t wear the strap, the shot blew these goggles off my face. The game stopped immediately because it was such a direct hit and looked horrific. I thought I would have a black eye for sure but so far just the teeniest bit of swelling, no pain or blemish. I wear these goggles as just frames, without the lenses. If I hadn’t had them on, my face would have been a mess and I would have been at emergency having my contact lens removed from my eyeball. Obviously, I cannot recommend them enough. For me they offer the same protection as KitchenBlockers but without the excessive amount of frame in your view.

yes, these are excellent - i use them for surfing, very clear, and no issues with fogging even after dipping in cold salt water. The only thing is I think they're supposed to be photochromic - they do not change the tint, at least i don't see a difference in the sun/shade. But I just need clear sports goggles that don't fog up - so works great for me.
