Good design, but poor camera and no memory card slot
The media could not be loaded. I'm quite experienced with drones and currently fly a certain branded type, however have owned and still fly a few lesser known brands, with or without GPS.I was intrigued to be able to review this drone as it has GPS and claims to have 4k camera quality. I've got a few Jinsoku drones without GPS and have been quite impressed with the quality and flight time for non-gps ones.Build quality is fairly good on this. It's not quite up there with the big branded ones, but it's better than the cheaper non-gps ones.I like the removable obstacle avoidance module. You can plug it in if flying in riskier situations or remove if not needed. Strangely, there's no real indicator that I can see on it to show when it's on or off. It does seem to work though in testing.Flight is fairly good. It gets a GPS signal quite quickly and it seems to hover well, even with a slight breeze. Controls are also responsive. The design of the transmitter is good, with a clear and understandable display. This is restricted to quite a small 600m distance though. You get 2 batteries and the life seems to be reasonably good so far. Annoyingly, they use an older micro usb charger. It's the camera that lets this down. As my video shows (recorded whilst not flying, to ensure there was no interference for my review), quality is ite poor. It's certainly not full 1080p quality. At the most 720p interpolated, with a poor framerate. Even more disappointing, considering it says 4k. Photo quality is also poor. It's like an old VGA image. There is an option to change this around, but it's never going to be great. The camera issue is partly down to the fact that it transmits the image to the phone via WiFi, which then effectively screenshots to take an image or video. There's no memory card slot, so you're restricted to the transmitted image. This is rather diaappointing, considering the pricetag. You can get other GPS drones for a little more that do true hd / 2.7k video as well as larger megapixel photos. In summary, this is fun as a drone to fly, with reasonable obstacle avoidance. It's almost useless as a camera though due to the poor quality image. I'll enjoy flying it, but only from an observational stance rather than for taking photos or video.

Not what it says on the packet
Easy to fly only problem is no SD card slot and the range of the video to the drone is all down to your signal so not worth the buy

Lightweight camera drone.
This is the first drone I've ever had, or used. It takes a little practice to get it working well, and luckily there are an extra set of propeller blades in the pack!I really don't know much about these things, so I have nothing against which to compare this one. So my reviews is based purely on my first impressions. It comes in a small carry case, with everything you need to get going. It appears to be very well made and comes complete with two batteries to give longer flight times. The app is easy to install and use, and the rest remains to the operator to get familiar with, and practice their flying skills. The camera seems fairly decent, although maybe not the stated 4K. Sadly the weather hasn't be kind enough recently to allow me to get fully to grips with it. I also need to familiarise myself with the legal aspects of flying this fine. My understanding is, however, that it is below the minimum weight limit the would require a licence to fly. There's a lot to consider before simply going out with it.I like it. Maybe not enough to become a hobbyist, but it's a little bit of fun. Highly recommended. I always try to write an honest and unbiased review of all the products I order. My reviews are only my opinion, of course, but I hope they help.
