I watched the videos a couple times, it's a little hard to see that the part you close goes on the bottom, at least that's how the video appeared to do it and that's how i did it and it works. It was a little difficult to get the strip in the slot at first but I pulled it out reattached the tape protector so it wouldn't be sticky and then it wiggled right in the slot so easy.
