OK, I will write this review as someone who grew up in the 90s and loved trying all these new products as a kid. Now just a year shy of being 40 can say I have a lot of experience on all the different types of soaps we’ve used and what kind of dove soaps have been out there. This one is honestly the best one I’ve ever tried, only because it really does not leave that white residue on your body like other soaps have, I wear black 95% of the time because of work and also my style and this soap really does not leave any soap residue that white residue. Another thing about this is that being on my feet about eight hours to nine hours a day working in a field, where I do not sit in front of a computer all day, I do take two showers a day, with this soap I’ve literally been able to shower or still feel clean with only one shower a day. After being on my feet for seven or eight hours, I still feel clean, and I’ll be honest with you I don’t know what anyone else is talking about, but it is very good for your privates and does not dry any of your privates out. As for the smell that people are talking about, it does not smell like men’s cologne whatsoever, it smells like a classic clean smell of the soaps we had in the 90s with a hint of light cotton, and I mean really like cotton. By the time you get out of the shower, the smell is pretty much gone, but you are left feeling clean And exfoliated for more than 10 hours. I really recommend people trying to soap, I have only used it for a few days, but I do not plan on using it every day as I switch back-and-forth with body washes. This is the best dove soap I’ve ever come across and I don’t see myself going back to other ones as this one does not leave any white residue and definitely does not dry out your skin. I even used it on my face and my face did not dry out.!! Must buy - From a busy New Yorker :D

I've heard of charcoal being very beneficial for some time now- atleast a decade- but I never really understood how beneficial it was. So I bought this soap on a whim and wow, I did not know how much I needed this. To Start- I wash my hands multiple times a day, as normal people would, but I use the Amazon Brand Liquid Soap for the last maybe 5 Years. I work at a office for my day job and commute- and I noticed that my hands (back of palm), wrist, and upper forearm area was darkening. I chalked it up to a tan from driving on the commute- as i'd wear long sleeve shirts to the office daily. When I started using this soap, it started tearing through the dark spots and revealing my normal skin color and ripping off the dead skin on top. Yes, it was accumulated dead skin- and it didn't come off even when scrubbed with a louffa in the shower. Now theres a few dark spots left and its slowly peeled everything off after just using one bar of soap over a few weeks. I'd say I'm average in cleaniless; daily showers, brush twice a day, hand wash often- so I'm not sure if the liquid soap doesn't clean as much, this soap is magical, or maybe a little bit of everything. also smells amazing

I’ve had rough and bumpy skin, particularly on my legs and elbows, ever since I was a teen. It is a hereditary condition in my family. Needless to say, I’ve tried multiple lotions and potions over the years but this soap is probably one of the best remedies Ives came across. I look forward to showering because of this product. The exfoliating is just right and not to harsh for a woman’s delicate skin. I really hope hope they don’t stop making it anytime soon. Just in case…I ordered more!
