My 11 year Rinnai water heater died, so I had to purchase a new one. This one has been a fantastic replacement! My plumber was able to quickly install it in just a couple of hours and was able to adjust it to propane vs. natural gas within the heater.The price I paid for it here was cheaper than what I would have paid through my local Rinnai dealership.It has worked well, and has been easy to adjust the temp, if needed. It is nice to have hot water again.I would definitely recommend the Rinnai brand, if you are seeking a tankless water heater.

Its been a year now so I can honestly say this water heater was worth every penny I paid for it. It works very well, provides more than enough hot water and saves me a bunch of money over my previous hot water heater.

After about 6 months with this installed, we are so happy we made the change to an on-demand. This water heater really does a great job serving our 3 bd home (family of 5). We can run more than one shower at a time and don't even notice a difference in water pressure or temperature. It runs pretty quietly, although we have it in our entry space so it's not in any main living area. It seems to be fairly efficient as well, we're really happy with the unit.

Do NOT install this yourself. ...*wink*" Except for the gas line, I installed this myself, which is something Rinnai clearly does *not* want you to do. It's condensing, so slope the exhaust. Make sure the exhaust is configured as specified and does not leak, so that you don't unalive yourself or anyone else you care about. Or, pay someone $4k to $10k to install it. Your call.The bigger your family the more you'll see your water bill go up. It's not the fault of the unit. It's that unlimited hot water makes showers last a lot longer.Don't neglect the maintenance. A flush kit and a gallon of white vinegar is cheap insurance. Personally, I have a two stage whole house water filter and a water softener in front of this unit. I still flush it twice a year. Because why not.I opted not to get the recirculation system. The added cost in parts and labor, for me, was like meh.

Arrive double box in perfect condition !! This is a great unit, set up was super easy. Replaced an older Rinnai this new model is like 20 pounds lighter. The older unit developed a leak after 15 years (probably my hard water) and the authorize repair center wanted almost as much as a new one to repair so I got this one. I was able to use the original concentric vent so I was happy about that. This model I installed was without the recirculating pump. I don’t mind waiting just a couple of minutes for hot water the recirculation kind of defeats the purpose of not using energy until you need it!! One note about my installation is I have a glitchy power grid so I have a UPS connected to mine to protect it from surges and momentary power losses. Even though it’s gas fed when you lose power no more hot water!

I needed to replace my leaking 30 gal oil fired indirect water heater. So I installed this hoping to save money. With a house of 7 people it makes hot water more efficient, BUT it takes so long to get hot water 25' away if you want to put a small amount for a recipe or wash your hands. It causes you to waste (softened in my case) water, because you have to wait for it to get to temp. But once you get hot water, it's nice.Save on fuel cost. Spend more on water cost.

Works great! No more running out of hot water with 3 girls in the house. Surprised at how many fixtures can be used at once!

So far, so good. Install was simple and straight forward. It takes some getting used to compared to a tanked model but it provides even temp every time.

I wish I could give it 0 stars had it installed started giving error code no customer support terrible service. Would not recommend it at all

Unit arrived damaged and obviously previously used. Hoping to get another unit that has not been tampered with
