We received an InStep bike trailer from my sister, but unfortunately it was missing the hitch coupler needed to attach it to the bike. After some research, I purchased the Titanker Upgraded Bike Trailer Hitch, and it turned out to be exactly what we needed. Installation was quick and straightforward. Needed something less bulky since my gravel bike has a metal lip that limits how thick an attachment can fit. Luckily I made this work! It's not perfect and I had to do some "tweaks" to make it work. The notched washer that has the tab had to be faced down and as far forward as possible because there was no space on my frame to have it up. I put it forward because the downward pressure of the carrier would force it clock wise anyway. This way the washer is locked in which let's the hitch lock in. Next I had to have the hitch portion angled a but down as you can see in my pictures. With my added fenders and back rack bar being mounted i didn't have the room to have it at a 3 o'clock position. Luckily this bike is bigger with 27 1/2" wheels (I think) so i had extra ground clearance that allowed me the space to have it slightly down. Although as you can see in the picture my clearance is pretty low. My trailer is an old instep I bought used. It hooked up well. I love the new clip they give like other user stated. It gives you more leverage when removing the cart pin. The coating looks well done and it seems heavy duty. I recommend adding grease or a rust preventative on your knob washer because on my old one that is where it rusted because the coating wears off there first due to stress. You don't want it slippery I just said grease because it will help slow down wear. Anything that reduces rust will work. I recommend if you have a similar space problem like me. Luckily my axle bolt fit no problem also.

Great product so far, easy instructions for installation. Works as designed, would buy again.

Very easy to use and install, great fit

It worked for my Allen sports 400 T1 trailer. However I had to shave down a little rivet on the trailer to make it fit. I used a metal file.

Goes to my bike just fine.

Super easy to install, well made, and held on to our little bicycle trailer perfectly. We purchased as an extra for my spouse's bike so the trailer can go between us easily. No issues so far! worth every penny

Just came in the mail this morning and installed it this afternoon. I bought a used instep take 2 double bicycle trailer and didn't have the coupler attachment. After purchasing a different product that didn't work with the bike trailer, I didn't have high hopes for this attachment. To my surprise, it worked! The only problem I encountered was that the manual says to replace the wheel nut and washer after installing the coupler, but the screw ran out of tread so I couldn't reinstall the washer. No biggie. It still works perfectly and my girls were so happy to finally use the trailer!

I have an older schwinn trailer that was given to me without the coupler and this one fits perfectly, i just went on a ride with my two kids in it, 8km in 35 mins, works as a charm!

We could not find this part anywhere locally so decided to try this one and it was exactly what we needed! So happy we found it and can continue using our bike trailer.

The connector fits perfectly and it's easy to disconnect if I want to take the wagon off, without taking the whole connection off.

Great product for the price every other place was double this price whenI bought it, it did go up when I attempted to purchase again a month later. The install was okay but did not come with a bolt to attach to your bike. Overall good
